I can understand u jake, there's no way i can back to CH2k8 after Ncaa 10, even with freezes (im not experiencing one yet), is too much more enjoyable game. Im pretty sure dev team after fixing Live would take care at this game aswell, but they need our support.

Haha! I did the same thing! I had a dynasty freeze(first one) in NCAA 10 and popped in 2K8. Great game, more depth and more realistic, but IMO it's just not as much fun and like most 2k games I can't stand the way the players move.

EA STILL can not get my teams uniforms correct. I have emailed them every year since its been March Madness. San Diego State wears BLACK on the road and white at home. Why does EA always give us a Red Jersey??? No alternate either...atleast make that a black one. The uniform front is wrong, our uni's have San Diego State on it never Aztecs. I can maybe see that being wrong on this game but please atleast get the COLOR of our jerseys correct, its not that hard.
I agree. It has replaced March madness 04 for me as my favorite college bball game not named coach k.

Finally, I received my copy of NCAA Bball 10. Played two games with authentics sliders and I'm having a blast. So it is a definite good bye to Ch2k8 for me.

After going back and forth whether to sell NCAA 10 or not, I had to give it one more shot. I paid $60 for this game and I owed it to myself as a college bball junkie and my wallet
1st thing I did was take the game for what it is. I've read all the posts and even some of my own. I threw them out the window. I was going into this with a clear head.
IMO, so many times we get wrapped up with the boards and wait for the first thing to go wrong. Lack of CPU 3 point shooting and kicking in out when they get the ball in the post. So, I figured I would ignore the post and like I said, take it for what it is.
What I found out was, this is one pretty damn fun bball game. Being a huge NCAA bball fan, I found this game feels like college ball. More turnovers, zone D's, motion O's, full court press, etc... I could go on but, it just feels like NCAA ball.
I know it doesn't do some things and after playing 5 games I've found that this is what I will be playing this fall and winter and depending on how I feel, I'll be playing this for a while. Coming from 2k10 to playing this, I can say I don't have the controls down but, I know I'll be ok soon.
The reason I even wanted to post this is because I realized that I needed to do one thing. Stop reading, posting and start playing. Like I said before, we as an OS community get so wrapped up in what we read and are so ready to stop playing because we are looking for what we've read. I'm guilty like so many here. I know there will be some people that just can't get into it and that's fine. IMO, this game is not for everyone. If you can get past what it doesn't do and start taking it for what it does, you'll find that this is college bball and it's done really well.
If you're on the fence still and haven't pulled the trigger wait a couple more weeks, go to game stop, pick up a used copy (you can return it within 7 days if you hate it) and play the game. DL some rosters, 360 or ps3 (I DL Jason's rosters and had to edit the player builds, way to big) and go in with an open mind. Don't look for the wrong, if you can, look for the good. IMO, EA did well.
Until next time fells,

We do have high expectations on OS. We really want our games to play well in ALL areas. A few flaws in crucial areas tends to let the air out of the balloon. I have no problem with people criticizing those areas or getting rid of the game if it bothers them that much. I do the same thing. But being able to see past those errors and enjoy the game for what it is is also a great thing. Sometimes I can do that and sometimes I can't. I think people blame OS too much for that. It's on you if you choose to look past those errors or not.
I finally got my hands on this game and I'm enjoying it a lot. I do have a question though. I was editing my team's roster and had to add a player. When I did that, they were grayed out and designated a Reserve, so I couldn't actually use them in a game. How can I make them not be a reserve anymore?

Yeah I see that now, but it still seems to want me to have 3 players on reserve. Can I not get around this? No huge deal but it'd be nice.

Just gonna let everyone know that when I play at a 25 toughest arena, I move the FT difficulty down from a 68 to a 30. I missed 13 FTs at Duke and I lost by exactly 13 so needless to say I wasn't pleased. Using the 68 difficulty, I've been hitting high 80s percent-wise through 9 games, then I went 2-15 at Duke. I play as Gonzaga, and they are a decent FT shooting team, but 2 for 15 is ridiculous. I'm really loving this game right now, but I wish I would of thought about the FT thing BEFORE the Duke game. Oh well, I'm still 7-3 in my dynasty with the Zags, and I haven't had a single freeze since avoiding timeout d-pad subs.
