do any EA devs for this game read this forum? I have a jersey problem which i already mentioned in this thread that i want them to see
I finally got this in the mail yesterday and I'm not sure its worth the heart ache. There is a lot to like but it all feels so undercooked. I love the presentation but can't enjoy all of the awesome replay montages and banner splashes when they run at such incredibly low frame rates. I'm on PS3 so I can't speak for the 360 version, but my game turns into a slide show when the replays kick in.
Also its pretty clear that this game has some major freezing issues in Dynasty mode. I just had my first 5 games in whilst surfing the recruiting menu. To me this is a deal breaker. I was willing to look past stuff like the CPU post game and the lack of 3 pointers. But I can't in good conscience continue to put time into a game that is liable to lock up on me, negating any progress I may have made.
The lack of support from EA is also very, very disappointing. This title desperately needs patching and it looks like that is not going to happen. I understand EA's position in purely economic terms, but that doesn't help any of us who dropped cash on this thing.
I'm really let down by all of this to be honest. A couple of months ago I was super excited after learning about the presentation upgrades and the promise of Live 2.0 game play. Now I'm totally deflated as the game doesn't work as advertised, to me at least. The only thing that cheers me up is my copy of CH2K8 on the shelf. It's a little dusty but I'm sure its ready and willing to suck me right back in.

PS3 version need a mandatory install of 2gb circa (just like last year)
Aniway i never suffered stuggering replays, but i do on Nba Live 10 on 360...
Also never seen freezes of any kind honestly, just playing Dynasty, dozen games in a couple of days, nothing happens. But i never use dpad also... Just like Jason said around here, is a tight focus point for the issue.

I begin to get tired of unlimited body contact, there's a way to decrease automatic defence? Dnt like the fact cpu teammates did a block (and get a foul) for me...

I'm 17 games into my dynasty, and I really like the game, but one big issue I have with it is that the CPU starts out every game on a hot streak and can't miss. I'm always down at the half, then they go cold and I win. Basically every game I've played in my dynasty has went this way. I'm just getting more and more of a feeling that the games follow a script. Maybe it's just something with me, but I was just wondering if anyone else has this?
Hey guys. Just gonna let you all know that I'm done here. Feel free to do what you want with my re-rated roster. I've had some issues with the forum cops here, and now my anti-virus program says a remote computer is trying to access my machine whenever I log onto this site so I won't be back. It's pretty sad, but true guys.

I am noticing a lot of little things. People in the stands getting up and stopping in the stairway to watch 1 more play. Little stats that pop up like "Toledo 2-4 when trailing at half" Little things like this completly get me into the game more and more.

Same here. The random stat overlays are incredible. The first time I saw the "team is #-# when trailing at half" got me all excited. Playing this game is as close to watching the real thing in comparison to any other sports game out there.
Well count me in as another person done with this game. My Dynasty has become corrupted, constantly freezing in the menu and glitching out. eg. I just finished a game and when it loaded back into the University court it froze with the crowd from my game superimposed over the court. Griffin was standing still dribbling but no button presses would work.
I really wanted to enjoy this title but it honestly feels like its about 2 years away from becoming a contender. It will be interesting to see if it survives that long.
And just for the record, I'm somewhat disgusted with EA's treatment of its consumers post release. This game needs a patch badly, even to just sort out the freezing. As far as I'm concerned, its a broken game. I poured at least 20 hours into my Dynasty, all for nought.
I hope the others out there trying to enjoy this game can remain glitch free.

I think what happens is the fatigue effect effects the game too much.
What I am saying is the reason the cpu always comes out on fire is they are all fresh at the start of the game. Also you really have to use your time outs if the cpu starts to hit a few shots in a row. If you dont they will go off on you and blow you out.
