is there any slider or a way to lower the automatic steal when dribbling in the paint?

I don't suspect so. Live had to patch this to remedy the frequency. Using R3 post button, is probably your best bet rather than dribbling with bigs. Or pump faking to try to get defender in air first?

So last night I saw some odd play. I played Duke at Michigan and Manny Harris tore me up for 37. He was 15-31 from the field, but what was odd was he would get a pass and just jack it up. He did that at least 8 times and pretty much made all of them. Not sure how I feel about that, a couple other Michigan guys did that as well. I think I read about this happening in Live in well, again not fully sure.

Getting blown out playing any ranked team on Varsity which is good, just need to get better. Vechi, you were right about the fouls, learning how to use controls better and am getting fouled when taking it to the hoop. You seem to have to start your shot from further out to kick the animation in. With fouls at 100, the first half of my game saw both teams in the penalty which is where I want it to be, but the second half it was not close to that level. Mostly because Michigan was jacking. They are up-tempo so maybe this is why they are jacking?
Poster what's up. I'm still trying to calm down after that demo review on this game...anyhow. Did you see that ehh and a lot of guys are creating rosters for ps3. They already got the names done, so I'm pretty psyched to see what happens.

Last night, I had an interesting game against LaSalle. They played tough. I did everything that I could do to slow them down and won late. What I did like is that I had never seen this type of game yet. In the past EA games tend to always play the same type of game. You could go through the motions and usually win in the end. I had to change d assisnments, subs, d rotations etc. Very rewarding. I too play varsity

Thanks!

I played 2 games last night. First game I was Indiana against Purdue. Purdue smoked me by 20. They killed me on the offensive boards. Second game I was Mizzou againt Pittsburgh. This was a close came the whole way. I ended up losing by 5. Although the game is not perfect it sure is fun.

Hey Vechi, yes the rosters are nice. I think those guys will be adjusting ratings down the line which will make it even better.

If you've been to my world once before you'd know LOL

But it's a painstaking mess of trying to COMBINE sliders most of the time...

Should have a set by sunday for download for 360 users and a set for ps3 users to input...

Check the site for details

CPU Hands in Post slider will help with this one. Won't eliminate it but will help.

Fast breaks! Fast breaks! Fast breaks!

I want to see some.

Seriously, any tips? Level of difficulty, slider tweaks, etc. I'm all ears or is that all eyes in this case.

So is this slider an offensive or defensive slider? In the slider thread someone thought it would help the offensive ball handles not the defensive ability to take it. I wish there was a description of these sliders somewhere. Thanks though for any light you can shed.

I don't see the CPU fast break. I can do it at times and OBC passing also helps a bit, but this is a big tuning area for next year.

Just had a light bulb go on game where I won as Memphis vs Xavier by double digits and overcame an early deficit. Learning the controls and how to get to the hoop without that garbage suction. If you don't have shooters, you really have to work the ball inside and look to score in other ways like dribble drive and post entry.

Still working on trying to get the CPU to turn the ball over more, maybe I need to play as a pressing team, but these are college kids who try to do too much and TO's should be high. Got Xavier to commit 10, I had 9. We each got to the line about 15 times or so that is good. Stats are really really good in 20 minute halves. The devs have to be commended for that as it is not easy to do.

I am loving this game I just need to practice w/ the controls more before I start a dynasty.

# 835 countryboy @ 11/21/09 07:29 PM
Ok, trying to find a comfortable fatigue slider setting is driving me up a wall. I want subs, obviously, but I don't wanna penalize teams that like to use players for 35+ minutes a night.

I'm chomping at the bit to start a dynasty, but this little roadblock is causing more issues than I anticipated...

do you still have guys that can play 35+ minutes without being exhausted?

My player on the court most is Vasquez for MD and he's playing about 34 mins. per game. Plenty in the tank!
