my favorite thing was how cool the lighting and arenas looked. The colors going around the stadium brought the stadium alive. The Celtics vs. Nuggets game looked amazing.
Also for people who say 2k has had this stuff for a while, we know this. But this stuff is what made Live not be better than 2k for a couple years now. Plus it looks like they nailed the basic stuff and you gotta remember they added A LOT more features/improvements

Yall feel to realize even 2k fundamentals wasnt completely realistic theres no since of body contact on 2k no defense it fummy how people try to make it like live is copying fundamentals is just basketball period it always been a part of basketball games might not been as good as the other but it been there. so you sound silly saying that

The biggest thing I took away from the vid is how much smoother the game animates.
That was the biggest reason I could not get into live last year.
I actually went out and bought the game around March sometime because I enjoyed the demo. But, I took it back within days.
The biggest reason I did was because of how jerky and robotic everything was. I really could not stand it. That was a game killer for me, just like a game with no leg tattoo's or only 40 shoe types would be for some of you.
There were some other things that bugged me, such as the ball/rim physics, the player models, and some annoying interactions between a ballhandler and the defense.
But, from this video, and from what has been put out there by the developers, a lot of this has been fixed. Which has me really looking forward to this game.
I can't wait to see some actual 5 on 5 gameplay and to play the demo to really get a feel for how much better this year's game has become.

@ Tmagic, they fixed those issues early one but couldnt patch it...but you still missed out on some nice things

I also noticed on the Devin Harris shot the ball keeps spinning as it passes through the basket. Definitely a good sign that the ball/rim/net animation/physics have been worked on.

I don't think I'll be able to do that with Live though.
Definately my most anticipated game of the year.

I wonder if they have give us the option to use the "shot stick". I really like it.

Krazyboy...you should really try and famiiarize yourself with the Shotstick. It can do wonders for your offense especially when try to finish a layup off penetration. It would be a nice addition if EA were to implement it.
