General:
  • AL and NL West (including Cubs) schedule addresses. Day games updated to correct time zone.
  • Addressed CPU Pitcher Energy from always full when pressing the quick menu while batting.
  • Fixed the issue when in the bullpen moving from last pitcher (closer) to top pitcher, the top pitcher's stats stay the same as the closer.
  • Inning pitched count corrected for pitchers during spring training. This is in ALL SEASON Modes.
  • Fixed AUTO BASERUNNING. Users should no longer be able to control steels for you or CPU using L1 and L2 in any game at any time.
  • Fixed the Movie Recording feature in both Replay and Replay Vault. Users should no longer get stuck after multiple recordings.
  • Players names not being called correctly in the audio. One specific item was Beltran being called Delgado and vice versa. This line used to be erroneously said for Juan Rivera. It has now been corrected to play for Casey Kotchman. This line used to be erroneously said for David Ortiz. This line used to be erroneously said for Miguel Cabrera. It has now been "disabled".
  • Career stats after going online and using weekly online Live Rosters or using the Online Roster Vault should now be correct.
  • Fixed issues with unbalanced trades when the rosters were full. 3 for 1 trades that will result in people being placed on waivers should now function.
  • Fix the problem in RTTS as the pitcher when a baserunner from 1st steals, the camera would sometimes swing around thru the crowd.
  • Fix switch hitter sub presentations using the wrong helmet sometimes.
  • Fix RTTS CP never getting a goal before the 1st pitch
  • Fix the Batter Training camera automatically being set to Catcher Cam.
  • Fix the Flashback Presentation X out problem.

Franchise Bugs

1.Fixed September 14 Road to the Show season lock.
2.Scouted players should now have feedback at the time of the amateur draft in June.
3.Fixed CPU roster control and lineup issue where users turn cpu roster control on, set a lineup, but lineup changes do not hold.
4.Fixed a bug where the user controlled team would not receive compensation picks when they lose Type A and B freeagents.
5.Fixed bug not allowing farm directors to be hired or fired. Just load into a franchise and fire a farm director during the off-season.
6.Addressed a problem where the title loses simulating functionality in franchise mode when addressing online requests.

Online:
1.Addressed Free Agents in the Online league Live draft. They should now be placed on teams through Roster Update are usable on user’s teams. (Guys like Manny Ramirez or Adam Dunn should now be available.)
2.Fixed Message Board bug that result in no messages being shown after changing full pages.
3.Reduced online game bandwidth usage.
4.Made minor change to the League create screen to Randomize the Draft time to various 30 minute increments from 12noon from 8pm.
An attempt to fix in-game disconnect issues in the production community. This is in an effort to stop the dreaded traffic delay problem the the community is reporting.

P.S. I have another update that I will be posting sometime today (hopefully) this one has nothing to do with the game though.
So, it's safe to assume that people that are having franchise and RTTS freezing issues are not getting a fix with this "mini-patch".

Thanks in advance Russell (and thanks for your hard work this week)

Thanks, seems my flashback obsession will live on with no one that has installed the patch chiming in..... (boo at that)

I've got the Rays/Red Sox tonight at 7:38 at the Trop and then, when i get home, The Show and I have a date with the first game of my franchise........The Rays and Sox (though that one is at Fenway)

And I suppose i'll ask Russell this too........the fix that is coming sometime next week. It ONLY addresses end of game replays (i assume that doesnt count flashbacks)

/obsession with flashbacks.............when i get an answer.
Sorry, man...I was waiting too. I had a couple saved ones pre-patch that I was tinkering with for various tests, etc, but nothing post patch. I'd like to know the answer to your question too, though.

I was already at June when I installed the patch and the first game after the patch I got the flashbacks but not the post game highlights. The second game I got the flashback and post game highlights. But after that I was only getting the flashback highlights during the game but not post game highlights.

Alright, thanks. Appreciate the info. So Maybe flashbacks are ok and just the replays are screwed up until Patch 1 Lite.

Thankd SDF. At least I'm not alone.

Problem is I've tried 13 times to no avail.

If #2 is correct I guess I'm out of my online league as I don't want to lose the after game highlights, replays, OR start my franchise over again.
#1. Correct. My understanding is that pre-patch franchises played post-patch are at risk for those crashes, etc.

#2. My understanding is that if you start a post-patch franchise now, you should be good to go. You should also still be good to go for the replay fix when it's released without having to start over (again though, franchises started pre-patch are still at risk generally speaking, I believe).

I would like to know how this works as well. I would like the schedule fix but I do not want to start over my franchise, and from what I understood, the patch fixed that in ongoing franchises.

For those of you that have ongoing franchises, will you be downloading the patch with the fixes in it? I am leaning towards not as it sounds like I still might have to worry about it crashing down the road in addition to the replay issues.

Or am I misunderstanding this?

I just got brought up to the majors with my RTTS guy. I don't have 1.06 patch and I don't want it, but SC keeps wanting me to download it before logging in. So, how can I get new rosters WITHOUT DLing the pathc? Or is it even possible?

Help appreciated.

Yeah, you CAN NOT continue your online league if you don't have the up-to-date patch, it'll require the update if you try to sign into SC.

Has anyone else noticed the ticker not working right after the patch? All I ever get now is the teams playing and time of the game, but not updated scores.

Is the ticker on by default? I'm not sure I have seen the ticker.

Russell, will potential be one of the attributes that can be updated? I'm hoping it can be. Also, I currently have two RTTS games started before the patch. Would it be best to continue those games, or start fresh ones now that the patch has been released?

It started working on mine with the first patch in March, but then stopped showing scores after the second patch. I didn't have to do anything to turn it on, it just showed up.

Russell, thanks for the update. Let me be the first to pose this question. If we start a franchise now (or have one started already) that is NOT giving us replays or flashbacks, is it safe to continue? I assume that this mini patch (or patch 1 lite) will work with existing franchises, correct?

Thanks again, just wanna know if we are safe to go.

Yes those should be grandfathered in
