General:
  • AL and NL West (including Cubs) schedule addresses. Day games updated to correct time zone.
  • Addressed CPU Pitcher Energy from always full when pressing the quick menu while batting.
  • Fixed the issue when in the bullpen moving from last pitcher (closer) to top pitcher, the top pitcher's stats stay the same as the closer.
  • Inning pitched count corrected for pitchers during spring training. This is in ALL SEASON Modes.
  • Fixed AUTO BASERUNNING. Users should no longer be able to control steels for you or CPU using L1 and L2 in any game at any time.
  • Fixed the Movie Recording feature in both Replay and Replay Vault. Users should no longer get stuck after multiple recordings.
  • Players names not being called correctly in the audio. One specific item was Beltran being called Delgado and vice versa. This line used to be erroneously said for Juan Rivera. It has now been corrected to play for Casey Kotchman. This line used to be erroneously said for David Ortiz. This line used to be erroneously said for Miguel Cabrera. It has now been "disabled".
  • Career stats after going online and using weekly online Live Rosters or using the Online Roster Vault should now be correct.
  • Fixed issues with unbalanced trades when the rosters were full. 3 for 1 trades that will result in people being placed on waivers should now function.
  • Fix the problem in RTTS as the pitcher when a baserunner from 1st steals, the camera would sometimes swing around thru the crowd.
  • Fix switch hitter sub presentations using the wrong helmet sometimes.
  • Fix RTTS CP never getting a goal before the 1st pitch
  • Fix the Batter Training camera automatically being set to Catcher Cam.
  • Fix the Flashback Presentation X out problem.

Franchise Bugs

1.Fixed September 14 Road to the Show season lock.
2.Scouted players should now have feedback at the time of the amateur draft in June.
3.Fixed CPU roster control and lineup issue where users turn cpu roster control on, set a lineup, but lineup changes do not hold.
4.Fixed a bug where the user controlled team would not receive compensation picks when they lose Type A and B freeagents.
5.Fixed bug not allowing farm directors to be hired or fired. Just load into a franchise and fire a farm director during the off-season.
6.Addressed a problem where the title loses simulating functionality in franchise mode when addressing online requests.

Online:
1.Addressed Free Agents in the Online league Live draft. They should now be placed on teams through Roster Update are usable on user’s teams. (Guys like Manny Ramirez or Adam Dunn should now be available.)
2.Fixed Message Board bug that result in no messages being shown after changing full pages.
3.Reduced online game bandwidth usage.
4.Made minor change to the League create screen to Randomize the Draft time to various 30 minute increments from 12noon from 8pm.
An attempt to fix in-game disconnect issues in the production community. This is in an effort to stop the dreaded traffic delay problem the the community is reporting.

Well, that makes sense. Thanks for the info.

They only have 161 games then or what???
I assume that was the case, unless the original Show had a Dodgers/Padres series that was one game too long later in the year.
Too bad they didn't program in provisions for rainouts. Maybe we could have gone back and rescheduled that missed game.

A "mini" patch to fix the patched items that went haywire with the previous patch. It's been quite the week.

And in case you were curious, if you started a franchise or RTTS before the latest patch, and you download the patch, your franchise/RTTS will crash, if you don't want to start over, don't download the patch yet.

That's not necessarily true. My RTTS hasn't crashed, but I'm sure more have crashed than have not.

whomever asked the question about continuing a RTTS or starting a new one, I would start up a new one. It seems that starting fresh and then downloading the patch is the best way to go.

I asked the question, and I have already downloaded the patch. I haven't seen any problems so far with either of my RTTS games, but I suppose it will happen sooner or later.

One more thing: when Russell comes on again, I'd like to know if potential is one of the attributes that can be updated on a weekly basis.

Color me absolutely pissed, I speculated days upon days ago that the schedule fix was screwing existing franchises up only to be ignored by Russell and avoided like I had the swine flu. Suddenly my fears are confirmed and the solution is to restart, thats the best SCEA as a company can come up with? This has to be the first time Ive EVER heard of people crying about certain aspects of the game, ie. schedule not being perfect, which dont have any impact on the actual ability to play a franchise/season/rtts and actually get their way. So, let me get this straight, in an effort to appease the fans complaining about too many night games for certain teams my franchise is completely screwed if I want to use the patch that was released? Thats acceptable? Seriously, you corrected the schedule so Cubs fans wouldnt be forced to cry themselves to sleep at night at the lack of day games and in turn screwed each and every person who had already started a franchise prior to that, and again, your solution is, too bad so sad but restart all over again?

I gotta tell you, next year Im waiting to buy this game, plain and simple, I feel like Ive been burned and basically told to deal with it in the process. Hell, if the fix that caused all this was a gameplay problem that was effecting so many then I could understand but to fix the schedule for only part of the league anyways and screw up existing franchises in the process seems like one of the dumbest things Ive seen SCEA do in regards to their great baseball title.

I know you're pissed and probably don't want to hear anything except other people being pissed...lol...but...

In theory, couldn't you play out the rest of your first year without the patch, then re-download it prior to the start of year two? The scheduling issue should not be a problem in that regard, I would think, since it's a fresh schedule you haven't played through yet.

Granted, it's not perfect (and doesn't change the fact that some people will feel slighted and all that) as you'd have to either sim past the remainder of year 1 or play it out without the game being patched, but it may be worth it for some if it actually works. Just an idea.

For me I started my chise post patch and only have the replay problem. Lucky me I suppose. But I have to say that it's very hard to argue your comment chef. You bring up very valid points. I'm a bit dissapointed in all this especially for all those who have to start over.
