Is the ticker on by default? I'm not sure I have seen the ticker.

Russell, will potential be one of the attributes that can be updated? I'm hoping it can be. Also, I currently have two RTTS games started before the patch. Would it be best to continue those games, or start fresh ones now that the patch has been released?

It started working on mine with the first patch in March, but then stopped showing scores after the second patch. I didn't have to do anything to turn it on, it just showed up.

Russell, thanks for the update. Let me be the first to pose this question. If we start a franchise now (or have one started already) that is NOT giving us replays or flashbacks, is it safe to continue? I assume that this mini patch (or patch 1 lite) will work with existing franchises, correct?

Thanks again, just wanna know if we are safe to go.

Yes those should be grandfathered in

So if/when i start this weekend, i may be missing some replays/flashbacks, but when Patch 1 Lite is released, all of those should come back. And the crashing shouldnt be an issue as its a new franchise. Is taht right?

Also, are people, anyone, seeing flashbacks at all now? If you hit a jack in the 2nd inning, do they flash back to it the next at bat, or does it skip it?

Yes if you start over now you should be fine

We shouldn't have to filter our comments on a message board or in certain forums just because a developer shows up.

You are right though Ruffy. Russell and the rest of the dev team don't have to be here. They chose to be here. They chose to come before the game released, interact heavily and provide a lot of great info to advertise for the game. It's a give and take. If they want to come here and market the game and accept the praise that most people give the series, then they have to also accept the negatives and answer the hard questions. I have a big problem when any develop comes on a message board, posts like crazy to promote a product and then pleads the 5th amendment when asked a tough question. I'm not even saying Russell is pleading the 5th but some of you guys are trying to do it for him. Russell's a big boy and many want to hear what he has to say. If they voice frustration over a delay in getting info that's fine. This is a forum to do just that.

Edit: And now Russell has responded. And people are thankful.

Just to clear this up I'm not here to sell you or market the game to you neither is anyone else from the development team that visits these boards.

I am not a part of the marketing team in any way shape form or fashion let me be clear about that. We are here to interact with the community and help bridge the gap between the development team and our consumer base so that we may put out the best product year in and year out.

Thanks in advance Russell (and thanks for your hard work this week)

If your franchise/RTTS is freezing because of patch number 2 you will need to start your franchise/RTTS over. Its the extra game in the schedule that threw it off which is what's causing that crash. Deleting that file and starting over should aleviate that issue.

Okay so the next patch will only have the replays fixed right?
