Releasing another patch is a big deal for devs. I wouldn't be surprised if they try like hell to find a workaround to give us, something we won't like. I don't see them releasing a fix for this.

What i can see happening is them rolling back to 1.01, and then re-coding the patch to fix those issues. I wouldnt think that would take too long. The base code is there, they just need to fix a few items. This gets us back to 1.01 briefly until they solve the issues.

That, or they shoot out a quick patch for the patch to fix the bugs.

I have confidence that SCEA will do something to remedy the situation.

You are seeing only the last play of the game in the highlite as well. Go into replay vault and you'll see at some point the innings will say "None". Thats when replays stopped recording and you'll get no post game high-lites.

Has anyone noticed if the CPU still gets 3 mounds visits? I know this isn't nearly as pressing as the other issues, but if possible, I would like to know.
Thank you.

I've still not updated with the patch. Without going through the 87 pages on this thread what are the problems with the latest patch and should I stay as I am ? I only play franchise.

The patch is causing existing franchises to freeze (in some cases - seems to be about 50/50)

There is also a problem where there is no end of game hilight show, and the replay vault toward the end of the game is empty.

There is also still a problem with CPU Roster Control On - the CPU is still changing around lineups although there is a workaround for this somewhere in these 87 pages.

I know we're well beyond this, but if I steal with a full count and 2 outs, I shouldn't be able to A) take home and score a run, B)get credited with a stolen base, and C)BE THROWN OUT.

This was present in last year as well.

I'm confused. Whats the outcome of the pitch?

Correct about B & C, but if you are on third you could "take home and score a run" on a walk, hit or error.

Only if the other players we are over there to with all of the fans. I like baseballs when the sun comes out at night and don't if everyone still thinks about 5 outs before the snowflakes.

I am assuming he means on a third out. (btw... there are also other ways to score... such as a wild pitch, passed ball, balk, catchers interference etc.. though I believe the latter is considered an error)

? Are the bases loaded - otherwise why would you steal on 3rd base? If the bases aren't loaded, you attempt a steal and the hitter walks or gets a hit then B & C could be doable...A could happen if the hitter walks with the bases loaded.

It should be present by that logic...

If the bases are loaded, then there's really no point, as anything that doesn't result in the batter being out (or one of the other runners being forced), the runner on 3rd scores.
Correct, 2 outs, full count - ex. runner on 1st and 3rd, and you press the "advance all runners" as the pitcher delivers, and the pitch is a ball.

You can still be thrown out, as well as score on this play.

No. Once a batter walks, the player on the base in front is "given" that base. If I have a runner on first, and 2 outs, full count, and 'steal' - for some reason they will still throw to 2nd?

Well you shouldn't send the runner on 3rd, that makes no sense as there is no force and he can technically be thrown out as much as he could technically steal home and score.

It will happen sometimes, yes - but that doesn't mean he's out. My example was dependant on the bases loaded.

The point is, the computer DOESN'T do anything about it, because it goes directly to the 'walk" cut scene.
