They are saying this, because the mode that has been tweaked in the near final build they all played in San Diego, was BRUTAL, compared to the one you are playing in the demo.

Yes, that's exactly it.

The bet we had was, within the short time we had with the game, it would be difficult to beat the best team's number ONE starter on Legend.

No one is saying it is impossible. It's just difficult. And, although I've said it before, the demo you're playing is in no way a reflection of how hard Cole Hamels and Scott Kazmir and their respective teams to beat were in the build we played.

I can beat the demo's Legend difficulty at a pretty good clip. About .500 actually. The build we played was much more difficult. Then again, I'm not looking for sock colors, jersey corrections and trash/flags blowing in the wind.

Nothing else to say but "you'll see."

Where di u guys play it at?? I know of some places they were letting you have a pre-realease party etc. etc. or convention.

....Sony....

A select few were flown out to Sony to play the game and provide feedback before it was finished. I'm guessing by your question you haven't followed the boards much lately.

Does it reach the point of unrealistic hard? Like am I going to be dropping 0-2 curveballs on the corner and they're just going to reach out and poke it over the RF fence? Or is it just a "don't leave anything over the middle" kind of thing?

No as u can see from post count i had a couple months off because of school and varsity baseball. So tell me about the selection how it was made and what it was like etc. etc.

Nope, not at all. They just are harder to get out while pitching, that's all.

It's very, very well done. Doesn't feel cheap at all. You really have to struggle every single pitch.

Again though, I don't think anyone played against the number 5 starter of the Royals on Legend but I would think it's somewhat more manageable.

and thats how the gae is suppose to be. Fro what ive seen and heard they said that top notch pitchers will be have advantage of not as great hitters. Sae for hitters ovr those pitchers. They are making the game more realistic and I love it. Last year i played HOF and it was someone difficult but I ean i would drop a courveball and it would drop below the strike zone and it would be bye bye see you next fall. I hope fro what your saying its not just ohh the other tea can hit anything. I ope it eans u better place it right or the other team can MAKE CONTACT

I have a pointless issue with the pregame cutscenes. Hats should be off during the anthem.

Cool I was worried about this also. I had a fly ball and my outfielder was jogging to get it I was thinking run, run, run, then finally he actually started running but it was too late, missed the ball. I had the analog stick full-bore.
I hope it is the demo.

I'm just saying that I don't know my player's exact strike zone because it's dependent on their height and not their stance. So there are times when I don't know if I should be taking that high pitch or not, you know what I'm saying?

Even if you have the strike zone turned off, you can still view it by pressing R2.

I just played a game where I was batting for both teams. I got thrown out on a close play at first (I was Iwamura) and he started arguing with the ump and got tossed! Oh and I didn't know Chris Coste's stance was so wild....he was put in as a pinch hitter and again whoa!

this is probably a dumb question but how long is the demo gonna be up for download. i haven't had a ps3 very long so i haven't gotten a chance to download any demos. I just ask because the earliest i can get home is Friday and i just want to make sure that the demo will still be there.

Yes I feel i have an extra advantage when i guess the pitch but I have a mental advantage. In real life if I guess a pitch correct a red dot isnt going to come up on the screen and give me a couple seconds to get ready and muscle up and crank it over the wall. I turn it off so when I guess right I have that mental preparation advantage which prepares me to hit the ball where i want to. Thats what i mean.

ok first NO QUESTION IS DUMB...... and it will if im correct be up for months I havnt checked but 2 months ago I saw the 08 demo still up in the store. I dont believe they care for taking them off to much. Just dont worry ur going to be fine and plus u can get tips here and talk with us so when u do get the demo you can criticize it and express your views here for the OS TEAM to consider and take into account for the opinions
