Also the spin move, I can no longer do, each and everytime I tried, the ball was knocked away. I also noticed in the post I was no longer able to do the pump fake then hop step move in the post. I would do the pump fake, but nothing else, my player just stands there. Has anyone heard about any changes to the online lag time. I played for the first time this weekend online and the lag was ridiculous, I went 1-11 from the free throw line, and it was impossible to play defense or to even make a jumper. I spoke to a friend of mine who has a 360 (I have a PS3) and he said as of a week or so ago, he got some update and there is no longer ANY LAG...he says it plays just like off line, anyone know about this?? Lastly, my same friend noticed a difference in the fatigue factor online, when I played this past weekend, my players were near exhausted in 2 mins (HEAT)..he said he noticed a difference and think there is some change coming soon for PS3..

The back down post game is pretty much gone. "It's catch the ball in the paint-make your move and go", now.

Spin move is still in there and just as easy to use efficiently as before.

You can modify the Strength slider 60(user)/40(cpu) or to taste. At default it's not forgiving enough for some people. But you can make it as loose or tight as you want

I'm sure it's been mentioned in here somewhere...

...but the patch hasn't fixed problems online. It's still almost impossible to get a game started between a friend and yourself. Most frustrating thing about online play IMO.

So your stuck playing people that you really don't want to play.

I know before the patch there was a bug that wouldn't allow either team to inbound the ball after fooling around in tutorial mode then starting a quick game... I would have to delete my settings... Is this bug safely gone now?

I don't know what you're talking about, TMagic

NBA Courtside did it that way. There was a fatigue meter under the player, and you could only hold down the adrenaline button until it was empty. It then took time to refill. It was usually enough to go about 3/4 the length of the floor.

Just using the analogue stick would be far too hard, though. You'd keep going at undesired speeds all the time.

I did not know that...

That's my point about the analog. Couple that with Isomotion being on the left thumbstick as well... it's a recipe for disaster.

LOL

My game froze about three times trying to get a game started with you man. I would have let you know that I wasn't getting back online, but I was frustrated with the damn freezing, so I didn't feel like turning the xbox back on.... SMH

No worries. I bounced after that, too. 2k made me an unhappy gamer.

Do I need to restart my association? Because I played a game on default sliders on Superstar and it seemed like the CPU was in 'I cannot lose mode'. I was up by 10, but it got to the point where I tried to turn the corner but the CPU made EVERY SINGLE SHOT. I mean, there was pretty much NOTHING I could do about it. Regardless of how many shots I made, I couldn't cause the CPU to miss unless I completely swatted the ball. They ended up shooting 65% and I shot 63%. They were the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Kinda bothers me. Not even sure if this what the patch addressed, come to think about it.

P.S. 48 pages is a lil much for me to read, lol

well you don't need to restart your association as the patch updates will apply to your current one, but you may have to tweak your shooting and defense sliders / tendencies based on personal preference for those other things.

Quick question guys. Do you need a gold membership (I have the 360 version) to download the patch? My game never was prompted to download the patch. Thanks for the response.

Do you have similar issues on default sliders?

I'm going to fire up the game again and try one more time. That just reeeeeeally pissed me off. To no end lol. I shouldn't lose to the Thunder if I shoot 63% using the Suns.

Hi guys.. A bit of a problem here.. Forgive me if I cannot back read but I've been busy and the thread has gazzilions of replies already.. It also doesn't help that I've been in hiatus with my PS3 for 2 months already..

I can't download the patch.. Before, someone gave me an alternate IP or something like that, that I should use in order to be able to download the patch successfully.. So far I've tried three times and all of them have been errors.. Can anyone help? Thank you in advance,.

Relax man. That's not the way to get 2K's attention. Try PMing someone. Yell on the board is not going to get it done.

I finally played my first game (post patch) online last night and all this guy did was try to go baseline. The game ended up freezing late in the 1st qtr but, am I missing something. Is this a cheeze tactic that I don't know about?
