Like I said what is the point of saying "They both will get old." Can you present a better comeback than that???????

That's the bottom line right there. People can pontificate on the value of a problem area all they want. If it's a problem area, it needs work. If the competition is already doing it better, the path to fixing it should be easier.

Typcial of you OS dudes man, downplay the importance of somebody's complains. That goes on SO MUCH around here. Who are you to determine how important a complaint is?

Like the dudes that complain about accessories. Yall give them HELL as if they don't have valid arguments. It might not be important TO YOU but you aren't the only person on this board that wants their voice heard.

I never have and never will downplay the importance of a BLATANT issue. Some of you need to take notes.
Agree to disagree and get over it. We've got a perfectly good video to dissect even more.

DC, I know this is your cup of tea, do you think the dunks have been toned down this year?

When I saw him shooting the hook I was cringing knowing it would hit the backboard and go out of bounds.

Baby steps....baby steps

Do we know if post defense has changed at all? That was another huge issue

I love how this guy calls people "OS dudes" but he posts and is on this site just as much if not more than most people who visit this site. I dont think there is a moment I'm on this site that DC isnt.

Another simple post from you again. Quick question: Is game freezing more important than Kobe's arm sleeve being too long? Is poor AI rebounding as important as Jamal Crawford wearing the wrong shoes. Under your statement, they carry the same importance.

Look at it from an absolute POV. 2K's commentary is BAD, TERRIBLE. I want it to be GREAT. As does EVERYONE. You can TYPE that you don't care but if you had a CHOICE between BAD and GOOD I think you will pick GOOD.

2K get on the ball, Live is PUNISHING you in terms of play calls and commentary.

Pared, Hoiberg, yall can defend 2K ALL YOU WANT, 2K get on the ball, Live is PUNISHING you in terms of play calls and commentary.!!!!!!

Well there is an issue here, DC. It's one thing to complain about an issue and make a thread about it, but we do have to acknowledge these games are developed on a tight schedule. Whenever that happens, the creators have to have priorities. Realistically, they cannot fix everything, so what is most important has to get fixed first.

When people marginalize other people's complaints on this message board, it's because the voice of the board begins to fail the spirit of priority.

If we get five threads on Kobe's arm band and one thread on core gameplay issues, that's a problem. All complaints are helpful if they're valid, but we can't collectively lose sight of giving the developers the most important info first and the nitpicks last.

Hell no. I will never think that. Dunking sells tickets and 2K has to put it in the game.

When it turn my game on first thing I do is Dunks in Traffic = 0.

But I am sure when you go online it will be a hell hole

Damn you are really getting upset over this. Right????????????

Take a deep breath. Calm down. It's not that serious and there are more important things in the world. Either way, aholbert's point stands and the fact you can't dispute it makes it even more glaring.

YES, 2k needs to revamp commentary.
YES, Live has a better flow.
YES, they will both repeat lines and eventually become stale.

It's par for the course with a video game.

Agreed.

But the thing is people have been complaining about ACCESSORIES for YEARS. When does it become a priority? That is just like Art Monk being on the ballot for the HOF and just FINALLY getting in IN the year of 2008.

Accessories NEED to be updated and those accessory dudes deserve to get their wishes taken care of because they have stuck it out SO LONG.

By the way is Kobe's sleeve fixed this year?

How much does that "101 Ways to Defend Yourself on an Internet Forum" book cost from Amazon? You used EVERY possible cliche comeback under the sun on that one Pared

And no I am not upset.

THIS IS UPSET.

I don't know why I bother.

People say fanboys are unreasonable but "level-headed fans" are just as guilty.

Either way, I trust the direction 2k is going in more than someone who can get hot on a keyboard.

On another note, is my computer just that terrible, because the vids are choppy for me. Any help?
Before OS I thought that most hardcore players were like me in getting a deeper feeling of immersion from trying to create an "on the court", or "in the stadium" playing perspective with these game.

I always turn the commentary off, because I don't want a T.V. style perspective when playing sports games. I'd rather hear referee calls, player chatter, coaches, fans, so in that sense I feel that 100% of games have "bad" commentary.

Your mileage may vary, of course.

Big question for me. Although one thing I've seen a lot of in the videos is help side defense. I'm really liking how guys are coming over to help on mismatches.

As you know, they have an Art Team. That Art Team has given us (imo) the deepest level of accuracy on player faces and tattoos(even rooks and bench players look great) ever in a game. This is the thing...

Given that info, it's irrational to say "why aren't the accessories fixed?" You know why. You see what the art team spent their time on. It's not irrational to say "You still need to fix the accessories" or even more so "make it customizable". But it is wholly irrational to ignore the work they are putting in and incredulously demand that the headbands and baller bands are "still ****ed up, why can't you get it right????".

i remember when they announced that all the dribbling would be tied to the left stick, i thought it was a bad idea and would cause some problems..i was right.

i remember liking 2k's dribbling better before they added the shot stick. back then the right stick was used for dribbling moves.

Born is trying really hard here to pull you back from the psychotic ledge you're hanging onto DC.
