Nivek, on your PS, go to "new user" on the far left
Create a new account but choose UK when choosing the country.
Once you set it up and go to the PS store the Live 09 demo is there.
You can delete the UK afterwards if you wish.

Quick Question:
This is my first time playing NBA Live since like 04 so I don't know too much about the edit mode.
I have noticed that some players don't have team colored shoes, like Rondo's are I think blue and others have colors that don't match their teams. Do you guys think this is a demo problem or will it be like this in the real game? Will their be an option to change the shoe and make sure its the same color as the teams?

How do you play defense? Just hold down on the right analog stick?
think 2k's lockdown system with the trigger button. Its in both games but executed differently.

Something about Kobe's face EA just can't get right. I can't tell what it is. His face looks smushed to me.
When playing defense, if I'm locked on, am I suppossed to use the right stick or the left stick to try to cut someone off, and is the control absolute or does it depend on what direction they'refacing?

I feel 100% the same way. I can only try 1 this year, and for some reason NBA 2k9, just doesnt excite me at all.
I actually may not buy it. This would have been unthinkable 4-5 yrs ago for me.
Just downloaded the PS3 demo and it plays a really good game of basketball. Large improvement over last year's edition, seems much more fluid and the movements are just better.
It is good to see Live stepping up their game again. I'll be picking this up come launch.

What I liked:
Playcalling is beautiful. Love the spacing and how many playcalls there are. The players get into their sets quick and theres a lot of movement.
The help defence by the AI is solid.
The dribbling system with the shot stick is very very nice. Gonna take some time to get used to but the idea and the commands are great.
The commentary is the best in the biz.
What I disliked:
No one ever misses an open shot. Rondo is like 5/5 in my time using and going against the celtics.
Kobe never misses.
Post moves always work.
Rebounding and some of the animations just look funny and dont look realistic at all.
Its a lot better than last year and I'm gonna keep playing the demo because Ive enjoyed it so far, but the game still has a long way to go. For a game that says they introduced dynamic DNA I havent seen a lot of things to show that it works. Its still a little bit too arcadey for my taste and players shot making ability should be taken into account a lot more than it is. It is WAY too easy to score from anywhere with anyone.
I think if 2k added the playcalling and dribbling system that Live has this year, itd be the greatest game in the history of civilization.

Why cant they just make us play about a 5-6 minute quarter game rather than 2 2 minute quarters so we can try to get into some sort of flow with the game.
2K may be better than Live but ill probably end up getting live instead. It seems so much easier to pick up and play with the controls and it plays a realistic game of basketball so it appears. I also love the signature style shooting.
