Someone would say if they knew.

It's completely pointless to continue to make posts asking if someone knows anything.

CJDowns was the only one who has known anything and he hasn't posted an update. It's either because he's not available or he doesn't have anything to update us on. For all we know, the patch might be done and no one at EA is available to push it out (since it's up to them, not Sony, once it's clear).

Speculate is all we can do but it will NOT cause the patch to be released any earlier. So go find something to do and keep yourself busy. It's out when it's out.

Can someone just make a different thread for the PS3 when it drops. I'm sick of coming to this impressions thread & the patch isnt even out for everyone...

One of the admins or moderators will change the name of the thread when it drops. I've changed the name to specify that only the 360 version is out right now.

I don't think EA knows since I believe it was stated somewhere Sony is testing the patch for certification, so it is up to them.

I have never seen the cpu throw 5 incompletions in a row. His first attempt was a 45 yarder and the next 4 were somewhere in the 10-25 yard range. Of course he did complete his next 3 or 4 but it was still nice to see the incompletions to start the game. The game played pretty good. I won 27-24.

My only real complaint was that the cpu rushing game was horrible again. Grothe tried running the zone read play about 10 times and failed miserably each time. USF rushed for 60 yards total on 27 carries. Grothe had 11 carries for 20 yards. If I could find a way for the cpu to have some rushing success against me to balance things out, I would be pretty satisfied with the game, all things considered. Grothe finished 22 of 35 passing for 280 yards.
lol, the Texas A&M QB went 0-7 to start the game against me(Texas Tech). he finished with a 35% completion %, with 0 Ints. they were able to run though.

anyone else having a really hard time making any yards on screens now? it used to work a little too well, now i'm lucky to get back to the LOS with HB and WR screens.

Also anyone able to call for a review? Anytime I go there it's not available, maybe its bad timing, or not reviewable, but i never noticed the problem pre-patch.

Still way too many TO's for TD's

the HB slip screen rarely works for me, pre or past patch. the CPU covers it good on me with 1 or 2 guys covering it and the CPU can't run it, the QB holds onto the ball and gets sacked 85% of the time. the only time it seems to works is when CPU all-out blitz me when i run it.

I still cannot manage to get any sort of consistent pass rush going with my front four.

If your 360 is connected online, just fire the game up and you will be prompted to update. If your 360 isn't connected, you are SOL;there is no other way to apply the patch.

That's strange. I'm getting a ton of pressure now every game that I play. I actually had 6 sacks in my game last night. I was WVU playing against Louisville. I think that's the most I've gotten in a game this season. What level are you playing on and what sliders are you using? I'm playing on AA, with minimal slider adjustments.

Are you saying you are seeing more pressure than before without having to make slider adjustments? After Adam said they never addressed the pass rush issue, I was assuming any improvement was due solely to working sliders. I'm sure I will get to see for myself before Christmas and the second NCAA patch.

Yes. Once I got the 2nd patch, I put all sliders back at default and was going to adjust from there. I can't remember what I have them at now, but I'm almost positive that the only thing I've done is increase Run Blocking Ability for the cpu, decrease Interceptions & WR Catch for both.

I only played one game with pass block at 0 for both, and I feel ya.

It was the only game I've ever played where neither I or the CPU had a sack. We both had all day to throw.

I have to play more games to have an opinion, but I saw the exact same things as pre patch.

I do not have my 360 conected to the net.
If I take my game to someone who does can I get the patch to my game using their 360.
Does the patch download to your game disk or your 360?

# 599 Pared @ 08/26/08 03:30 PM
Can't save to you disk.

Bring your entire system and run the game while connected at their house. Download the patch and you will be set.

Try it at default. I know you think that sounds crazy but the game plays much better, after the patch, with the sliders close to default. Drastically altering the sliders results in worse gameplay for me and even more unrealistic stats.
