Does the patch affect already started dynasties? I don't want to start over.

On the issue of pass rush, I have actually found a way to get a an effective pass rush on the cpu.

Calling blitz plays and then defense adjustment to 'show blitz' y-left will somehow get my dline in on the qb much faster. I am vanderbilty in a dynasty with 70ish rated dline and have been averaging 6-9 sacks the past few games with this method. My first few seasons I may have gotten 18-20 sacks all season. that coupled with jump snaps will get you in there.

I think EA didnt mess with the pass rush as couple with this, the jump snap, and sliders, pass rush couldve been too strong.

The kicking game seems different too. It seems like every time I kickoff, I kick it past the goal posts giving a touchback. But when I kick field goals, the accuracy and distance is not as accurate. I've been using the same kickers since patch 1 and it has become harder to kick field goals all of a sudden.

This happened to me too at first, dunno what it was, but I froze 3 or 4 times in the menus and twice trying to load a dynasty game. I ended up playing for a few hours afterwards without any freezes, so I'm not sure what the problem was (it happened to me in various menus ... sliders, rosters, file management)

Game plays very well now, even though I'm still working on sliders. While the patch didn't fix every problem, it at least made the gameplay fun and workable. To me, NCAA basically leap frogged Madden - even if Madden's gameplay is still slightly better, the entire package of NCAA is great now. Returning Madden tonight, sticking with NCAA this year.

Thanks for actually patching, many games live eternally with terrible release bugs/issues.

I was playing on default AA sliders and I also use the "show blitz" and I had 4 sacks in one half on 5 min qtrs! I turned it off after that cuz I was just testing out the new patch, but I am lookin forward to starting my dynasty finally. And to think I was about to get rid of this game

Meh... feels the same to me. Still too much time to pass and defensive AI is still ********.

I have been doing that all along..I wuill just bluff the play a few times and the QB gets confused somehow, even though no one moves? With the patch I will see if that is needed, but i WILL ALWAYS USE IT ANYWAY...I will try it later tonight.Atleast I do not have to start my dynasty over

OMT said you shouldn't have to and I definitely noticed a difference in mine.

you are killing the cpu run game and then complaning about it if you put the settings like that....
I don't have human break block at 100. I have it set at 20. I was just using an example but I think you might be the only guy in the world that thinks break block has nothing to do with pass protection.

Locking up 2 for 2 when trying to check sliders/rosters in the main menu navigation area. Wow, what crap this is.

Thanks. Those stats are awful hard to find on the internet since its not an official statistic.

Have the same problem with my roster file except for patch 1 has caused it to freeze everytime I try to open it. I just had Adam tell me that roster files that were ok before the first patch would work fine after it, what a load of BS.

The kickoff coverage and punt coverage is improved still not great but improved. As far anything else like the pass rush it is exactly the same and people thinking it is better must be suffering from the placebo effect. All-American creates a slight pass rush just like before but still nowhere where it needs to be. I should be able to constant pressure rushing only 4 or 5 against bad teams.

I think the reason EA did this was to help tone down the cpu INTs. Whenever they get pressured, they tend to make bad decisions and throw too many picks. To help fix the QB AI, they just boosted the pass blocking so they wouldn't make as many dumb decisions.

In the game I played, no kickoff return got past the 30 yd line.

Sure they didn't tone down the pass rush to create wide open gameplay. Also if that was the case maybe they should have thought of actually improving the QB AI instead of ruining the pass rush which for the record has never been this bad in any NCAA game before.


^^^Did I not say improved, but improved and great are two different things. The gunners are better but the pursuit angles are still terrible. Calling it great would definatly be an exageration. There were two returns for td's in the first half of the very first game I played mainly because the pursuit angles are still bad.

the one thing i really really really hate is when the computer runs the ball late in the game then as soon as you use your final time out....instead of running out the clock they decide to throw and most of the time its a horible throw..ive intercpted 2 or 3 late in the game this way and it drives me nuts...i hope this is fixed
