Pardon my ignorance, but weren't they supposed to fix the interceptions with this patch? I'm still seeing an insane amount of interceptions with the slider on ZERO for both the CPU and USER...

This is it for me...I can't even enjoy the dynasty on this game. I had more fun with the Dynasty on NCAA 06 on my PS2...

sorry EA but even with this patch, YOU FAIL. You lost a customer today.

They should of made two different threads for the 360 patch and the ps3 patch. That way I wouldn't have to feel so upset every time I come on here to check for the ps3 patch and only find 360 players talking about how their patch is improving their game play while we wait with our thumbs up our asses.

As of right now there isnt any new info on the patch but as soon as the patch is released or there is any new info there will be some form of an announcement I'm sure.

yeah, thats hoping some users PS3 don;t break from turning the system on and off to see if the patch is out.

actually, doesnt the EA guy have to push the patch out? So if he doesnt push it out before he goes home, then theres no hope tonight, right?

Unless he goes back into the office at night then there isn't any hope.

I doubt if there is just "one" guy who does this though... especially if that "one" guy is on vacation.

Yeah. He's the guy that pushes the patches out for ps3. Unless he's gone he's the one.

Patches can't be shared as they are invisible to the user on the HDD.

That was never something they were going to address. The computer does throw too many, but I think that's a far deeper issue than a patch can cover... it's an AI issue. The computer QB throws too many stupid passes. The only way to address that through tuning is to make defenders either morons or stone hands.

you can get to the updates if you had a xsata or xport. but you can't transfer patches to a memory card, at least not that i know of.

Is this game worthy of a purchase? I'm tempted to pick this up after cashing on the Gamestop trade-in deal, but am a bit hesitant after reading all the problems/issues guys have been having with the game.

I have done a lot of complaining the last few weeks so it only fair that I comment on this new patch. It has made a HUGE improvement I think. The game still has some problems which can hopefully be worked out for next year but most of the issues that existed were either fixed or improved a little. The game is playable by my standards so I thank you for giving us a pretty good patch in a timely fashion.

What was once a wild shootout kind of game before the patch has turned into a defensive struggle in the two games I played tonight and I got some fairly realistic results with minor tweaking of the sliders.
