It's something that a lot of fans can't separate and I'm one of those. I have already recognized that Favre has the right to play till when he feels like it, except for the Lions, Bears and Vikings and lately, the latter two. If you feel we are the only 2 Packer fans feeling that way, you need to know more about Packer fans. 90% of Packer fans that called into the local sports radio show in Milwaukee didn't want to see the Vikings in the SB with a #4 purple jersey.

I've never seen Tarkenington, Eller, Page, Krause, Foreman, Chris Carter, Moss, Culpepper, Gene Washington, etc..... cross state lines to their rival, "just to stick it to the Vikings."

It's similar to you supporting Favre after one season vs all those 16 years playing for the green n gold.

Let's just hope for Viking fans sake he doesn't draw out the drama to make his decision whether he's playing or not.

He should take a lesson from Kurt Warner in that area.

1) So what if Brett Favre retires and unretires? Some other players do it too but you don't see the fanbase in an uproar about it. Junior Seau has retired more times than Brett has, Testaverde did too.

2) So what if Brett Favre plays for the Vikings? Other players have done it and the fanbase doesnt get in an uproar about it. Drew Bledsoe to Bills anyone? Fiedler to Jets? Alot of players go to their division rivals. LaVar Arrington, Antonio Pierce, Aaron Stecker, Warrick Dunn......need I go on?
1) This seems to be a common misconception. The indecision isn't the main reason why people dislike Favre.....the biggest reason is his behavior. He's been revealed to a be proven liar. He's manipulative. His ego and sense of entitlement is easily the biggest i've seen in pro sports. Favre has been using "retirement" as an angle....an angle to avoid off-season work. an angle to get away from the Jets and to the Vikings. It's no coincidence he asked for his release from the Jets the same day he "retired" from the Jets. Those are just a few of the very legit reasons for not worshipping at the altar of Favre.

2) I can't believe you're putting those other names in the same class as Favre. It's nowhere close to being apples to apples. Bledsoe will not be a HOF-er and he's never approached anything even closely resembling Favre's popularity status in the league. What Favre did would be like Brady going to the Jets by choice. Like Bradshaw going to the Browns by choice. Like Elway going to the Raiders by choice.

When I say both I mean the all the fans and him. Not just you two. I have a feeling Kurt would have went anywhere to played. Look at the Rams Wr he went to the 49ers. Bruce, he was a legend in Rams history and he went to the 49ers. It happens. It is a business first, especially nowadays. Back in the days it was more about being loyal, even though that team didn't have to be loyal to you.

Since when is St. Louis close to San Francisco? I didn't know the St. Louis Rams and the San Francisco 49ers were heated rivals like the Vikings and Packers.

Maybe I've been watching too much football lately.

You don't need to soften the blow with the business first answers. I get it, but doesn't mean I approve of the move to the rival.

Yeah they are ever since the Rams were in L.A. first. In fact it was the battle of the California teams. Now where did I say you had to agree, I am sharing why I don't trip about it. To me it is a business first. And for the Record Moss wanted to go to Greenbay before the Raiders. He always wanted to play with Brett. How would I feel about Moss going to Greenbay. I don't know, I think I wouldn't care. Just because players come and go, especially when the Free Agent came into place.
