Arenas don't just empty in the middle of the year though.

I am willing to bet that the attendance will be consistent the next decade and beyond. If you hve ever been in Massachusetts, you will see celtixs attire literally EVERYWHERE and kids trying to be like rondo and Paul pierce, not MJ and Lebron. It's basketball everywhere.

It's not like they were watching terrible teams in Boston either they were at least playoff squads there. Still being there right now while they're still competitive with KG, Pierce, Rondo on that roster isn't any sort of accomplishment. Let's see what they do when KG and Pierce are gone and Rondo is carrying the load himself and that seventh or eighth seed is the best they can hope for.
Dawg, those young Pierce squads in the playoffs had sold out arenas every night.

Furthermore, every bad team has a lesser fanbase... I didn't realize that was up for debate.

Everyone here should be a little biased, but I think it's pretty clear that Boston has one of the better fanbases, if not the best in the NBA. You hear guys like Kobe and LeBron saying it's the hardest arena to play in, and Josh Smith admitting "they have the best fans in the NBA." lol

Basically. I figured the Heat would get a lot of the mentions as the worst fan bases, and that's mostly because the face if their fanbase is post 2010 riders. Fact is, if you look past that, they got some pretty good fans that have supported their franchise for a while. Same thing with the Lakers, on a much bigger scale...that franchise has been around for a LONG time...and a lot of people were raised Laker fans all over the country...can't judge them based off the "koooobbeee!" crowd because that is what you see for the most part...

Id say the worse fan bases are the ones that are completely apathetic to their teams winning or losing...and that would currently be ATL & Indy
