Pick a sentence out of the reply, note that you didnt say exactly those words, then make charges of twisting words. Rinse and repeat.

Yeah, you stop it. lmao.

My post wasnt even toward you actually...just pointing out how overblown I think Perkins value is...

You're right, it was a previous post where I said it. Regardless, what part of "I still have faith in Boston" translates into anything you said in your post? It might not have been to me, but you quoted Wwharton who was replying to me.. so yeah.

Outside of a few crazy posts, generally speaking in this thread nobody was saying Boston is done. So it still seems like you were twisting.

Lakers won fine without Andrew in the regular season, but without him in the playoffs there is serious doubt as to whether or not they could win a title.

I look at Boston in the same light except to a lesser extent.

Wwharton continues to state how "overrated overstated" Perkins is, but any bball head knows he was the anchor in the middle, and the combo of he and KG created a two-headed monster defensively, a crazy good defensive dynamic on the interior. They worked perfectly in sync. Good luck having to depend on undersiezed Baby and old Shaq and defenseless Kristic and broken Jermaine...

I still have faith in Boston but to just throw Kendrick aside in the manner Wwharton is doing is pretty crazy.

Pretty much. May be harsh but I have no sympathy for players that overestimate their monetary value (and I think everyone would agree that Perkins was doing that here).

Tough to say since nobody knows what will go on with the new CBA. I see both sides of the issue really, I mean he's worth more than that... but also I won't feel bad if he doesn't see that money after the new CBA. I don't blame him at all though.

Except Ariza got exactly what he deserved, and also that story was never official one way or the other. Nobody knows the truth about Trevor.

Well like I said I see both sides. When you look around at who got what recently.... I mean jesus. I still won't feel bad for him if he doesn't see that money next year but at the same time I can't say he overestimated his value at all.

Twisting what? how I feel? lol

Yes, I think Perkins value is being overblown...and yes, I feel like the C's are still serious contenders...the vibe on and off the site has been negative as far as the future of the C's

Do I think you personally said they were not? nope...ive read all the posts you quoted before..and you made that perfectly clear...if you took me quoting someone else as a challenge to that, I dont know what to say..wasnt my intention

I feel sorry for the dude, getting traded at the very last minutes of the deadline without even knowing it was coming. These GM's can be really shady sometimes!

Twisting people's words into "you would think Boston was on the brink of collapsing and Perk was the glue".

You really got all that from the general consensus of the thread?

I sure didn't, but that's what I was referring to.

BTW Jeff Green cannot play C

Re: Kendrick Perkins Traded to OKC

Lol.

But yeah, I know Jeff cant play C, if you were referring to my earlier post...I was making reference to Green AND Kristic..

having a decent mid range shooter at C is a dynamic we havent seen from Boston yet...
