Yeah, it's absolutely ridiculous that he pitched Cy Young caliber baseball for nearly three months to get the Brewers into the playoffs for the first time in 16 years and then finally folded when he tried to take the mound for his fourth start in a row on three days rest because the Brewers have no other pitchers they trust.

What a loser.

Overreact much?

I never called CC a loser I just said he's not a playoff pitcher for one reason or another. Also the whole 3 days rest thing is a crutch IMO. CC is a big boy, if he knows he's not going to help the team by pitching on 3 days rest then he would be wise to tell the manager beforehand. CC had NO problems pitching on 3 days rest before so we can't really throw it out there as an excuse.

Now if you had said he's been pitching a ton and well over 100 pitches in each of those starts I'd totally agree. The Brewers ran him ragged toward the end of the year just to get into the playoffs and he ran out of gas. Just don't go saying working on 3 days rest alone is the cause of it.

I'm one of those people that think CC deserves the Cy Young award for his amazing work down the stretch with the Brewers so if he's such a big loser why would I want him to win the Cy Young award huh huh?

Personally I'm shocked that C.C. laid an egg last night. I know he was bad last year, but I was expecting him to go at least 7 innings. I don't think he's gotten pulled before the 7th inning in any of his Brewers starts, then goes out and gets shelled last night.

Brewers are done.

Please.

CC is an amazing regular season pitcher. The fact that him sucking the playoffs is a reoccurring thing. I don't know if it's conditioning or if it's because he is mentally fragile, but he SUCKS in the playoffs.

And now you know. He just screwed your playoff hopes as well.

You do know Skerik is a Phillies fan right?

While I am obviously happy with how everything has gone so far, I've gained a TON of respect for CC with what he has done the past month plus. To see a guy take the ball on 3 days rest 4 times in a row and potentially put his health/career in danger....just months before hitting the free agent market? All for a team he knows he's not going to be with next year? I'm sorry but that's awesome...and refreshing to see.

I started making a list of all the things wrong about this post, but then I got bored.

Please inform me all that is wrong. Maybe it's his 6.14 era in the postseason that will prove me wrong. Maybe it's his 2.11 WHIP in the postseason. Maybe it's his .425 OBP in the postseason.

And no I didn't know that Skerik was a Phillies fan. So he helped his team's chances at winning, he should be happy.
