And I'm not running Windowed Full Screen anymore, just normal Full Screen at full details on 1080p. I have other games that are a bit slow/choppy when they first load up too and then smooth out, so this doesn't really bother me.

Thanks guys.
Still on the fence installing or not the 14.9's over 14.4's. I'm on a 6850 and I guess it won't help much with performance as newer drivers target newer cards optimization. I'm just trying to get rid of this weird stuttering when the game starts. It lasts about 3 or 4 times up and down the court and then disappears. I know that the game constantly "writes" on cache as the documents folder is already 6gb+ but this is not a huge issue. Currently playing on 1080p high shaders and everything else on medium with special effects ON.

Re: PC Impression's Thread

I did some reading before I installed. The 14.9 before was causing some people BSOD, but they fixed it with 14.9.1 so that's the one I took which was the most recent and it worked immediately for me. My drivers were way outdated

About to fire this up on my big screen!

Public service reminder to always uninstall your drivers cleanly before installing new ones. When I installed the 14.9.1's it did fix my 2k issue, but it also broke the Catalyst Control Center (the app that has all the different options for driver-level graphic quality, among other things). It's working now, but only after I had to uninstall the whole package and re-install.

This isn't the first time that's happened with the CCC, either. I really ought to know better.

Re: PC Impression's Thread

Just to help any AMD users out there, turning off supersampling manually helped me a bunch.

Also, RadeonPro helps so much too. I had removed most of my stutter by turning off Supersampling, but going into the Advanced tab after adding NBA2K15.exe and checking Force Triple-Buffering, Anisotropic Optimization, Trillinear Optimization, and Enable Surface Format Optimization helped a lot.

Beneath that, you'll also want to enable Texture Filtering Quality and move the slider to the left to 'Performance', and the same thing for Mipmap Quality which is under that.

I have no more stutter in Online games. Hope this helps somebody!

No problem and thanks! I'll check it out tonight when I get a chance to play.

Re: PC Impression's Thread

I am starting to notice a decent amount of input lag when using a gamepad, in my case the xbox 360 controller. There is a certain delay with the left stick, and I am sure it also will bother shot timing.

If you have a pretty good GPU, try changing your buffercount to 1 instead of 3. Turn off V-Sync and all AA then check if you still have input lag.
