2K13 PC impressions thread

[WTF]

Thats BehindShadows from here at OS. I've gotta say, I've saw a LOT of new animations this year. I've seen some Nasty dunk animations, some "hopping up the floor", a LOT of new animations. The collision animations are NICE.

I don't have any issue with that. I've not played the console version, may download a demo just to check to see if I notice anything glaring. I've seen TOO many new animations that I know weren't in 2k12.

I do not have the PC version so I cannot speak to the Impression of it. It should be coming today via UPS though. But the only thing that I picked up from this guys commentary is that he was comparing the animations of the full retail PC version to the Xbox 360 demo. I think there may be an issue there, but I do appreciate you posting the video.

I7 920, I play BF3 full settings no issues. It just shutters ever so slightly, not all the time, buts some times when bringing up the ball up the court.

What cam angle do you play? Just saw a thread that there's some stutter playing with 2k cam.

The game plays great.

I like all the new animations and also the way players run, point out, call for a screen, adjust their accesories, etc. It simply adds a very human feel to individual players.

I really like the new lighting for the skin tones, even though the lighter ones are still lacking, the texture of skin, shoes and jerseys are awesome. I'm also loving the new Blacktop mode with it's new GTA meets 2K approach, very compelling and the shoe creator is simply delicious.

P.S.

Glad you can now set who is a play initiator from the player's main screen in edit mode. Gave it to Pippen

same here, random and defiantly not a major issue. I am running a 660ti GPU, I had micro stutter issues with my ATI with 2k12 and no matter what I did I couldnt cure it. 660ti has been excellent with 2k right out of the box this year.
