These sliders are good and I've used them for about a month. I have a question though and I don't know if it is a slider issue or a 2k issue.

When I play, I can usually tell within the first three or four minutes if I am going to win the game or not. I can "play" really well (no turnovers, good defense, etc) and be down big because my guys simply miss open shots while the CPU makes everything. Then there are other games where my shooters make shots, my bad shooters miss shots, but it is the same thing for the other team as well and at least it seems fair.

Is this more of a 2k issue overall? Are game outcomes in myleague sort of pre-determined in 2k? It sort of feels like it and I don't know if that is a slider issue that can be fixed. When I lose, it is always because the other team shoots about 10% better than my team does. Most of my shots are either three pointers or layups/dunks too so it is not like I am taking bad shots. It is just very frustrating and seemingly out of my control as a player.

Just curious if anyone else sees this. I know I can lessen CPU shot making and I have tried this, but sometimes it plays perfectly fine without adjusting these sliders.

I'm confused about the ball security slider.

I get that higher ball security (e.g. 100) means more secure, which means less frequently losing the ball due to collision.

However, the slider description given by 2K is "how easily the ball is lost", which is weird.

Does it mean ball security slider is "higher means the ball is lost more easily" or "higher means the ball is less easily lost".

I used to get this feeling and would end up either winning a close game or getting blown out. Not even particularly against the better teams either. What I learned to do was make adjustments. If a team went on a run, decide what the reason for run was and make adjustments. Post player getting buckets? Double on catch. Stuff like that.

Changing matchups when a player is getting burned sometimes helps. Playing a little press coverage for a couple of minutes. Make the adjustments and the game starts feeling fair again.

I've played myself back into games from double digit deficits a few times. Those games are fun because you have to play perfectly for long stretches of time.

Any updates coming anymore ThatMichiganFan? I know you are probably really busy, but I feel like the set is somewhat broken now with all of the patches 2K has released. It feels nice it's just that the user defense is abysmal. Hopefully you are heard from soon because this thread has been dead. It's a shame because I feel that your All-Star sliders play the best out of all of the ones on Operation Sports. I'm still on 2K as much as any other game too. I would attempt to edit myself, but I am awful at slider testing and making it accurate

Hey, ThatMichiganFan.

I used your sliders for 2k16. I see you guys saying the default sliders are better than usual for 2k, but yours were great for 16 so I'mma try these out. A bit late to the party, but I like the reviews I'm seeing!

I'mma try 10 minute quarters as that's always been my style. I have not had the best experience with all star difficulty on 2k, but we'll see. I may drop down to PRO again, like usual.

But much appreciated!

ThatMichiganFan I want some suggestions to tweak it better to suit me. Right now I see no user defense even after bumping it up in controller settings. I don't know why I keep getting smoked on the defensive end
