Cpu slider question

What sliders affect cpu gameplay as a whole, to get the cpu moving like Hof, but without all the cheese.

All of them?

You'll have to be a little more specific as to what you want to see from the CPU that you're not currently, what "cheese" you're trying to avoid, etc.

Re: Cpu slider question

I want to avoid shot success being dramatically increased for cpu and decreased against user, or guys being purposely left open. Or cpu blowing by my guys after a couple dribble moves that didn't work to begin with. I just want the cpu to play smart and fast, and scheme to take away my scoring options. Without reducing user capability and shot success.

Sliders work together and affect each other, so you're going to have to try out the various slider sets in the forum here until you find one that you like best. Unfortunately I can't just say "Change these 3 settings and you'll be set", it all works together.

I didn't know if there was a threshold level, or some sort that came online at a certain level. I think increasing awareness may be the answer. I just want the cpu to play smarter and faster, identifying weak points on my team. And not take 22 seconds to set up a play that ends up being a last second heave air ball shot clock violation.

Actually, increasing offensive awareness seems to do the opposite of what you'd expect. The CPU becomes very predictable and rushes into terrible shots.

Try out my slider set and see if you like the changes. There's a lot of variety in the gameplay where some games will be shootouts and other games will be a defensive struggle. The CPU plays with purpose on offense but there's really no "cheese" that I can see!
