I do not believe the camera will impact anything, but obviously some settings will such as directional-relevant things like freestyle stick control or whatever its called.

Now, do other cameras make the game easier? Perhaps. That's up to you.

I have never heard of those other sliders so cannot comment on them at all.

This set was built from 2K's default All-Star sliders in a MyNBA setting.

What I prefer is listed below as I like to be more of a GM than a coach. This allows for me to evaluate my actual coach based on his performance. If you prefer to control more, adjust as you see fit.

Many of the sliders are at default as the game plays well and doesn't need a massive overhaul. The changes I've made, however, are crucial in my opinion.

Hey Mike. Quick question. Why did you put things like commit fouls, turnovers etc. so low in your simulation setup? Were you seeing way too many skewed stats in simulated games? I was just wondering because I like a few more fouls(around 20-25) for example. Should I raise the slider to get the desired result or will I be good here? I’m enjoying the set and have done very little tinkering at all. Thanks again bro

Yep those are because it's impossible to get played games to match simulated ones in the number of fouls being called.

If you want more I'm simulated games, yeah just up that slider to where you want.

How are you doing with fast break points? That’s the one stat that I just haven’t found a solution for. I’ve raised the fast break slider in the sim set up menu to 60 and saw a few games that were comparable to an actual NBA game. Played games are another story. I’ve tried adjusting the acceleration with and without the ball sliders. I thought maybe the defensive recovery time that stops the break would be negated by giving the ball handler more acceleration. No luck so far though I’m afraid.

I would say creating more turnovers should lead to more fast break opportunities thus more fast breaks that actually lead to points.

Any suggestions on paint defense? I played the Knicks with the Mavericks, and Randle might as well been Wilt. Absolutely couldn't miss anything at all even draped with a defender.


Passing also seems insanely slow/inaccurate, then again I've always hated NBA 2k's passing. Half the time I pass it to the wrong guy in transition. Any tips?
