Wow, those are actually some really impact names on that list!

I don't see the M's giving up Capps or Pryor anytime soon. Furbush maybe, O. Perez definitely.

I know you're the Phillies and all but Kyle Drabek could make an interesting relief option.

There's also James Russell on the Cubs who's semi-young, and Vic Black on the pirates.

Pythagorean Theorem to determine expected record--what are your team's runs scored and team's runs allowed (I'm curious as well).

On other roads...Addy Reed could go but because of all of that control, you'd be paying a premium. A reliever that MIGHT be worth a low b means you'd have to give up that low b and then throw in something that equals value of all of that control so you'd end up giving up a mid a plus a low b or 2 mid b's plus a low b for someone who is only worth a low b, make sense?

I also know that KC is not giving up Crow.

A's are playing really well so I don't think Cook or Doolittle would get moved. Furbush is really interesting but he's having a great year. Russell is in AAA and is looking pretty nice to have, especially because of his higher stamina. I tend to try and use either a low end starter or a reliever with high stamina, especially because I play tons of extra inning games. For example, I'm using Zambrano right now as my long reliever but he has an ERA of 10.45 so he's gonna go haha. If anyone on San Diego holds true, Boxberger is who I want haha.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Also, I hope this is ok to ask but the centerpiece of my Lee to Texas trade, Olt, has struggled a bit thus far and I'm not sure if he's quite ready to be in the majors yet. I was thinking maybe I should send him down and work on his hitting attributes more and sign a free agent. Also, he gets tired really easily and has to sit out every 2-3 games which is quite annoying and I don't know why that's the case either. Another option would be to trade for an old 3r baseman to play there for the rest of the year, unless you guys think i should ride out olt

Acquire a starter and convert him into your desired bullpen piece by Edit Player > and swap positions to RP and lower his stamina to something in the 40's or 50's (whatever your desired number is)
