How about Gennett and Kyle heckathorn (C) I believe the Yankees want scooter Gennett for Cano insurance.

Rangers
SS Profar, RP Feliz and Olt for Stanton.

TB
SP Moore and RF Myers for Stanton.

DBacks
CF Eaton, SP Skaggs and either SP Bradley or 3B Davidson for Stanton.

Appreciate the feedback guys, thanks.
I think you're underestimating Stanton's value. He's a young, controllable power bat.

From Texas, you could probably command more than what you're currently asking from them. Texas will give you the most impactful package.

It's hard to see Tampa trading for Stanton because it would force them into a situation where they would only be able to retain either Price or Stanton, not both. Price is in line for some big money here soon and the Rays will probably pay. If the Rays retain him then it's doubtful they'd be able to pay Stanton through his arbitration years. All in all it would create a bad financial situation for them. Its a decent package but the Rays just extended Moore last year and they just traded for Myers. On top of that they're both cheap and controllable whereas Stanton would get expensive quick.

I personally think that this is where you could get the best high ceiling package. Arizona has a ton of good talent that is close to the big leagues and a player like Stanton would allow them to compete with the Dodgers for the foreseeable future. The only issue is that Stanton's makeup might not fit with the Snakes desire for "girtty" ball players that don't make waves but that's only a minor concern.

If I had to rank the packages according to realism and what's best for your organization:

1. D-Backs
2. Rangers
3. Rays

It's really a toss up between the D-Backs and Rangers at 1/2... it could go either way.

D-Backs and Rangers definitely have plenty of good talent. I'm going to look at the spreadsheet and see what I would be able to get from either Rangers, D-Backs and Cardinals. I have a feeling Marlins won't be able to afford Stanton when the contract is due and to avoid arbitration I rather move him ASAP.

I need to improve how I handle monitoring trades in season two, so I'd like some suggestions, and then I'll bow out until the trade season for season two.

Thanks once again!
I let the CPU propose trades and scroll through pending transactions each day to see what's going on. If there's a really lopsided offers that doesn't fit any team needs, I just reject it. If it makes some sense (like the Nova > Brewers deal mentioned a page back here), I'll rework it a
bit before approving it. If the CPU makes a perfect trade proposal (biggest LOL of the year), I'll let it go trough

Not much at all. Ransom, Punto and Hairston could be had for pocket change while Valencia would cost you one young arm like JC Ramirez. Either way, either player...it's a cheap price to pay

Nevermind I had to restart the season and Im not going after Castro. But currently I'm at the all star break. Zambrano is out for the year with a fractured skull so Im looking for a pitcher. The Angels are 35-51 and 16.5 games back.I was thinking of trading for Haren to be a rental. He is 4-9 with a 2.97 ERA currently. I would also like to throw Trumbo into the trade, he is hitting .232 with 13 HR and 42 RBI. Maybe trade Ozuna and Heaney for Haren and Trumbo? Another option I'm looking at is Volquez from the Padres. He is having a great season. I forgot his record but his ERA is 2.32. What would it take to acquire him?

Alright, just finished up May with Anderson. He is 4-1, with a 3.03 ERA, and 36 Ks. His DIPS is 3.78 though, but still good enough to trade. Hi is estimated an annual salary of $15mm, so they might not want to keep him. Some teams I was thinking of sending him to were Cincy, Arizona (Lost Kennedy for 2 months), Dodgers, St. Louis, Milwaukee, or Kansas City.

I see the Dodgers and Royals as the most logical fits.

To the Royals for Chris Dwyer and Noel Arguelles or straight up for Aaron Crow/Danny Duffy.

To the Dodgers for Zach Lee/Corey Seager/Joc Pedersen and Javy Guerra.

The packages could be put together in a bunch of different ways. Any specific position you want to load up on prospects on?
