I would also like to throw Trumbo into the trade, he is hitting .232 with 13 HR and 42 RBI. Maybe trade Ozuna and Heaney for Haren and Trumbo? Another option I'm looking at is Volquez from the Padres. He is having a great season. I forgot his record but his ERA is 2.32. What would it take to acquire him?
I don't exactly need to know records, lol.

I don't like you including Heaney. He's a bit too good. What other pitching prospects do you have?

Apparently he is available per MLBTR. I still have a hard time seeing it, but it's in the article.

Look at Bard, Soria, etc. Young relievers suck sometimes lol. Smart move.

Looking for a valuation of Danny Hultzen in *my* chise (not spreadsheet). He's up with the M's and he's got a 6.94 ERA. Owowow. 5.06 DIPS which is probably the highest DIPS I've ever seen in the show, which is kinda remarkable. He's given up 10 homers and 23 walks in 48 IP. The K's are there but not elite at 9.38/9. He's got a .336 BABIP but I haven't even looked at his hit-related stats. The walks and homers are bad enough. But, for those who must know, 1.65 WHIP. Plus, the BABIP is at the point where it may not be random chance- he may just be getting hit really friggin hard.

Thoughts? I figured a fair trade would be something like Bonifacio, who's hitting .280 with a 2.4 RF and .9 BSR. He's been really nice for me doing what I need him to, but I may have a log jam next season, which is when I'm looking for this trade to occur, in the offseason. I'm just curious basing it off current stats. In CF, Seattle has Guti hitting .203 and Michael Saunders got friggin demoted.

Uhh, wikipedia. It's based on runs scored and runs allowed, but you can get the exact formula there. It's no great mystery or anything.

Rangers
SS Profar, RP Feliz and Olt for Stanton.

TB
SP Moore and RF Myers for Stanton.

DBacks
CF Eaton, SP Skaggs and either SP Bradley or 3B Davidson for Stanton.

Appreciate the feedback guys, thanks.
Add more to the Texas package and you've got it. No to TB and no to AZ--not their style at all. Plus Arizona just got through with one supremely talented, slugging "headcase" OF...why would they try to scoop up another?

Also if this trade goes through should I move Castro to second and keep Reyes at short?
0% realism. Cubs ain't dealing Castro. Fish ain't dealing Fernandez.

Skull fracture?

Why does everyone love Trumbo? And an NL team no less?????????

Sure, Haren and Trumbo could be had with that record, but why are you so eager to give away 2 of your top 5 prospects for a washed up SP and a plodding DH/1B? You could certainly pay less. Use the spreadsheet.

I don't like it. He's young enough to keep around. Young relievers are good sometimes too: Papelbon, Cook, Janssen, Jansen, etc. Could go either way, but their farm is so weak, but Reed is so good at a young age, you could go either way with a decent argument.

I don't see it. That's an E-P-I-C buy low on a top prospect and the guy they'd be getting is not a clear upgrade on anyone there--more of a spare part, so not worth a top 'spect. It would just add to the positional mess in Seattle. I think they'd give Danny H another year to get his **** together or demote him before trading him at a rock-bottom price.

Actually, I'm the Sox, this trade is for the A's. By that last sentence it seems you think I'm the A's! They obviously don't need a SS because they have Russell, but they would love to have some infield 'spects. The Royals can be a great option because they are in contention even though they traded Shields last season! They are clearly doing something right and deserve a better ace than Santana. I was thinking Cuthbert be included? Maybe a pitcher as well?

I would love it if the A's and the Mariners weren't in the same division. If they weren't it would have the best trade for both sides. But for realism sake, let's keep them out of it.

What? Hultzen is still a top prospect, and thought of highly of him throughout his career. It's only May in your dynasty (are you using that?) so I just don't see them giving up on him right away. Try manually demoting him to Tacoma, and if he is that bad after, ohhh, about 6-7 AAA starts, then we *Might* be able to talk about Bonafacio+ for Hultzen.

Bit later than that. I'll demote him though.

Brett Anderson would look real nice in a Red Sox uni. Just a thought....
