I can probably take a look at the extra players if you want. What file are they in of yours and are they listed as free agents in the game or some thing?
Ah gotcha. I didn't save the file. When I get some time I'll try to reach the limit in-game of created players then send the file your way.

In the hex, it's the attribute right after Kick Accuracy. It's 49 (31 hex) for normal positional players, 99 (63 hex) for kickers and 1 (1 hex) for punters.

What do you think? Why do you like fast?
Like bartlett said, fast makes you have to make reads faster, find holes quicker, etc. We all play the game differently and probably different skill levels, but on normal speed I can shred a D since it feels like I have so much time in the pocket. It's more of a personal preference to play on fast, more of a challenge. Normal or even slow should work fine with the sliders though.

I don't know what you guys are doing with the roster file but I'm going to go ahead and start my dynasty I mean franchise lol with Goldbergs slider set with a lower pursuit so I can actually have a running game against the crappy defense

I'll take a look at the Kicker changes this weekend. On another note, I think your 2015 Offseason file is not correct. I don't even try to convert it to XBOX and the editor is only showing Tuel and Manuel as QBs on the Bills. FYI.

I thought we already tested the max player file way back when we first started this drill. Let me know either way and I can see what can be done in the editor.

Re: GillBoldberg's NFL 2K4 Roster

Now that you mention it I think we did fool around with the caps. I was just trying to figure out if the created players name/info/attributes are contained within the rest of the non created players or if they're stored in a different area of the hex so the editor will be able to read them and we can edit the created players further.

Ignore the team rosters in the editor. Remember the editor doesn't track player movement. Load it in-game and the roster will be correct.

Re: GillBoldberg's NFL 2K4 Roster

Turns out even with pursuit at max I can still get some good runs if I make the right reads and the right motion love this set

That's right! Does Finn's editor track movement? I was thinking about customizing the Franchise schedule yesterday. Have you ever researched this to see how Finn did it?

Re: GillBoldberg's NFL 2K4 Roster

Yeah Finn was able to figure it out. I tried looking into it awhile back but got way too confused. A lot of changes happen in the hex, it's definitely not a simple change like an attribute or anything. Moving a player from one team to another changes their contract, team depth chart, possibly more.

I haven't touched a franchise file yet.
