Well, how can I get good sim stats? Do sliders affect simmed games? If so, will default All Pro or Legend get me good sim stats?

I dont know i really do not care about sim stats. Why are sim stats so important? Either way its more about the ratings and edits done than the sliders. Sliders do have an effect but ratings play a big part. I do not worry at all about sim stats so i really cant help you.

Sims stats are important because I look for a realistic franchise and having 2,000 yard rushers and 10 30 TD Qbs is not realistic. I look for both gameplay and good stats, which is probably possible. The problem is probably the whole 127 scale thing instead of 0-99 or 100.

Ok guys I honestly want your input. Do you think quaterbacks throw power is to scale with real life because I dont If your in the Nfl you should beable to throw 50+ yards...I dont think a 80 rating gets you a 50 yards. would the 127 change things?

Test it out and let me know what you find. I think pass strength equals pass speed not distance but if you find other wise I would like to know about it.

Re: JSOU's Finished 2009-2010 NFL Rosters & Franchise file

First, I want to say great job on these rosters JSOU, I'm throughly enjoying them. Next, Iwant to chime in here a little with this whole "Sim Stats" debate and created rosters that I'm noticing not only here, but also with other games like MLB the Show. I really think the "Sim Stats" thing is really overrated and like another poster mentioned I would have to agree that I prefer a highly playable or gameplay oriented roster over a "Sim Stat" roster. At the the end of the day it all about "Gameplayability" my friends.
I'm not bashing the Stat heads, but I feel if you're looking for a more stat oriented experience then "NFL head Coach" would be a better avenue to take. Now, I do realize the importance of stats in any sport, but I feel sometimes we can lose the true essence of what a "Sport's oriented" video game is about by looking to perfectly emulate what happens statically on the field. JMHO

Once again, JSOU great rosters.

Thanks jsou for the great rosters!! Btw, does anybody know if I start a new franchise with jsou's roster and do a fantasy draft how do you prevent the glitch that the qb is punt returning? I don't know what to do.
