Re: 2Koalition NFL 2K Roster Thread

Long time no post - I have finished a variety of teams and modified a few teams (Broncos especially).

I gave a few players the 100 rating that I think deserve it: Larry Fitzgerald, Troy Polamalu, Tony Gonzalez, and Ray Lewis.

I did not make Brett Favre a 100 because I dont think he deserves it but if he finished strong I'll alter him. Right now he is a 94 (same as Kurt Warner).

Favre attributes: 100 Arm Strength, 100 Leadership, 100 Composure, 99 Read Coverage, 84 Accuracy, 69 Consistency.

Favre being a future Hall of Famer, extremely skilled at his position and the 69 consistency to represent he isn't always top notch in games and 84 accuracy the guy threw 22 picks last year so i think these ratings are right on for a QB of his stature.

just an update - suggestions would be nice

Re: 2Koalition NFL 2K Roster Thread

The entire roster I am making is going to be rehauled and started over (in a sense). I am not re-doing anything, but going by what I have already did. Instead of doing each individual team I am going to go through all of the players and do all the Quarterbacks, then all of the Running Backs, etc so they are rated by the number I gave them. I feel that is better instead of tweaking rosters cause I don't think this guy should be better than this guy. I am going to look at the stats for all the QBs and then throw a number on them and then figure out what there stats will be. Number being overall rating.

Also: the roster is going to be a Franchise file since the rosters only allow 54 players. I want to add every player (even practice squad) and you just make the cuts in the Pre-Season.

Re: 2Koalition NFL 2K Roster Thread

Are people going to rated on stats or just some random personal feeling?

Re: 2Koalition NFL 2K Roster Thread

I am not going to pay any attention to the OVR rating - instead, just insert the stats for the player that I think belongs and my thinking comes from looking at the stats of that player, the scouting report.

In my roster, Mohamed Massaquoi on the Browns for example has a 71 rating, good factors but his 62 Catch (Scouting Report stated he drops a lot of passes thrown his way) is his biggest weakness.

Not paying attention to the OVR will be realistic in determining how a player plays. Just because he is a 2nd round pick doesn't mean he gets that 68-71 overall rating (or higher).
