These look very close to legend. I may have to give these a try. You left out CPU Pursuit and Tackling.

NoleFan,

Just added the sliders that were missing.

And, even if you think you aren't good enough, try them. You may be surprised.

Re: Official ESPN Football Sliders Discussion

In what way does the cpu respond differently when in fast mode?

Re: Official ESPN Football Sliders Discussion

It seems that the CPU DB's respond better to passes, and the LB's seem to respond better to cuts by RB's.

About 3 games in since switching to Fast, I have found this to be true every game.

Re: Official ESPN Football Sliders Discussion

My current settings:

Legend/Custom (dunno if it matters if you start on Legend or not..)

Fast Game Speed (Vital)

9 to 10 min quarters. I keep going back and forth

Human: (40 point scale, 20 being the middle)
Block +25
Pass: 0
Run: 20
Catch: 0
Cover: 35
Pursuit: 20
Tackle: Max right (40)
Kick: 5
Fatigue: 5

CPU:

Block Max right (see note below)
Pass: 3
Run: 11
Catch: 3
Cover: Max right
Pursuit: 33
Tackle: 18
Kick: 5
Fatigue: 5

Penalties:

Still working on em.

Notes:

The fast game speed means you really need to boost CPU blocking because it's way too easy to speed rush. The lowering of the CPU run and the boosting of the Human tackle counters this fairly well. The fatigue being low helps in preventing you from going to the same guy play after play. At least it helps a little.

On this level and playing on fast--you have to know where you want to go with the ball. The pass rush can be rough, but that's part of the NFL as you know. You give an NFL QB time and he'll kill you. But you cannot sit and look around for 5 secs with these settings. Well, at least you can't with the Browns line.

Re: Official ESPN Football Sliders Discussion

Does zero mean leave them on the legend setting or all the way left?

When you say +25 is that from the legend setting or all the way from the left?
