We are posting Rory McIlroy PGA Tour videos all day today on OS, so be sure to check back frequently to see new videos!

Rory McIlroy PGA Tour
gives players a chance to customize a golfer with several options. The first thing you'll do is give your golfer a name and a gender. You then skip into giving yourself a handedness and then you pick your home country, which basically is any that you could think of across the world.

As detailed in an earlier news post, you are then able to pick your entrance to the tour, from a prodigy to a collegiate star to an instructor.

Your golfer character customization allows you to generally edit the head, skin tone, hair style, body, eye color, and hair color. There are options within each to help shape your golfer in an easy to use manner, there's not much 'unstandard' about this.

After you customize your character, you are then able to choose what attribute bonuses you'd like to apply. You can either be balanced, a precision golfer, a power golfer, or a finesse golfer.

To see big versions of the new signees in NBA 2K15, click here.

The 2015 NBA Free Agency class ended up being way less fun than it would have been in a video game -- you just know guys like LeBron and Marc Gasol are changing teams -- but there were still a bunch of players that switched teams and changed the forecasts for NBA franchises.

So after the jump, we'll talk about some of those teams and individuals, and how they'll look in their new surroundings.

The Noober Goobers (and formerly the Tommy Toe Hold YouTube page) have had a field day over the last year making these videos narrating hilarious glitches in EA UFC. It's the perfect combination of an over-the-top Joe Rogan voice and a really spot-on Mike Goldberg impersonation.

Of course, the star of the show is still EA UFC as it makes all this stuff possible. The first of these videos cropped up in June 2014, and really the videos are as funny now as they were then. The appeal of EA UFC is it's a solid game, and because of that, you can on some level just enjoy the goofiness of the glitches without screaming about how "THIS IS A SIGN THAT DEVELOPERS ARE SO LAZY NOW!"

So enjoy that video, and maybe check out a feature from our recent past where Glenn Wigmore talked about five things he would like to see in the next EA UFC -- whenever that does end up becoming a reality.

Players On The Rise

So, uh, how's everybody doing today? Feeling good? The holiday weekend treated you right? Cool. Cool.

Oh, yeah, what about this update? What was in it? Great question. I'll tell you, but don't be mad at me. You promise you won't be mad? Okay fine, here's the scoop:

There was nothing in it.

Okay, I mean some guys got boosted overall ratings this week, but nothing as far as I can tell changed with attributes. Any boosts that happened had everything to do with position changes. Basically, with the All-Star game a week out and the holiday weekend in play, this roster update was the bare minimum. And really, that's fine. Many people were expecting next to nothing fron this update with both those factors in play -- the assumption being some big changes will be in the next update instead -- so this should not come as a major shock to the system.

Still, the big risers were guys being changed from relievers back to starting pitchers (Collmenter, Cosart) or a guy being converted back to the middle infield (Logan Forsythe).

Tier Changes

(All thanks go to Daddy Leagues for these numbers! They've been so on the ball the last couple weeks I no longer have to sync up before and after roster update video clips to do all the changes myself.)
  • Justin Masterson went from Bronze to Silver
  • Jarred Cosart went from Bronze to Silver
  • Cesar Hernandez went from Common to Bronze
  • Josh Collmenter went from Bronze to Silver
Full List Of Changes

Nathan Eovaldi +4 boost in Overall rating (76 Overall)
Justin Masterson +5 (78)
Logan Forsythe +6 (77)
Rougned Odor +3 (77)
Wilmer Flores +3 (74)
Jarred Cosart +5 (79)
Tom Koehler +4 (76)
Cesar Hernandez +5 (72)
Jason Motte +1 (75)
Josh Collmenter +5 (80)
LaTroy Hawkins +2 (76)
Christian Bergman +5 (67)

Another week is coming to a close in Diamond Dynasty, and the big pack released this week was the June Topps 50 Player pack. It costs 12,000 Stubs, and it has not caused prices on the Marketplace to dip much at all -- presumably due to the high cost. Instead, it seems the Marketplace is slowly recovering from some record-low prices that cropped up last weekend when the last batch of special-edition packs were released.

As this is a holiday weekend, I'm not sure if the roster will be released Monday morning or not, but we'll assume for now it will be. Either way, fewer names are on this list than usual as honestly not a ton of players stuck out to me this week.

Ratings Boost Probability: High

-Zack Greinke - A lot of folks have been bugging me about adding Greinke for a couple weeks now, but I had held off as I thought there were some better elite pitchers this season. I had been pushing for a Chris Sale upgrade over Greinke, but Sale still has not gotten his boost. Regardless, Greinke now joins him as somebody who I think just clearly is pitching like one of the best pitchers in the majors.

-Taijuan Walker - It's really been a crazy turnaround for Walker after his dreadful start. He's got five wins in the last month to go with over a strikeout per inning and a WHIP under one.

-Mike Montgomery - Walkers' teammate has also been a really great story, and I think it's fair to say Mike Montgomery also deserves a lot of praise at this point.

-Carlos Correa - He's amazing. I don't need to put stats here, Carlos Correa is just amazing and needs to be at least a Silver.

-Buster Posey - On some level, I really doubt Posey gets a boost this week, but to me he's been the best hitter over the last month and so I have to put him here.

The official PlayStation Blog revealed today that when Rocket League comes out next week it will be free for all PlayStation Plus subscribers.

For those unaware of Rocket League, we played it at E3 and loved it. In short, it's a multiplayer-focused game where you play soccer with cars. Yeah, exactly, you should already be like "I'm in, game on."

The game will also be out on PC, and if you really can't wait to ensconce yourself in Rocket League goodness, the official soundtrack can be purchased in the interim.

The official NBA 2K Twitter account posted a picture today of cover athlete Anthony Davis getting body scanned. The promise is that it will give players "more authenticity than ever before."

Obviously that's a bit vague, but this is not the first time we've heard about this type of scanning. Back in January, we pointed out that a couple NBA teams posted similar images on their official Twitter accounts. In other words, the NBA 2K folks have been making their rounds to get this done.

It's hard to say if this is to try and push more realistic wingspans, more realistic tattoos, more body types, or something else even deeper than that. It also makes you wonder if you will have more body types to choose from when creating players.

Either way, more authenticity is never a bad thing, we'll just have to see how this all comes together.

UPDATE: Body scans continued...

Players On The Rise

It was a battle between Albert Pujols and Max Scherzer in terms of who was more rewarding of the big boost this week. Both came out looking good as Scherzer becomes a 97 overall while Pujols gets a plus-three boost and some overdue power increases.

Brett Gardner is another big winner this week as his ratings have fluctuated all year. He's mostly been on the upswing, but a position change had knocked his overall rating down until he got a plus-three boost this week and became a Gold. Jason Hammel also joins Gardner as a Silver that's now turned to Gold.

The biggest boost this week was given to Chaz Roe, who received a mammoth plus-13 boost in overall rating.

We're wrapping up another week in the Diamond Dynasty universe, and the two packs released this weekend were the Small Ball and Silver Loaded Packs. I think fans have really taken to these packs as they seem to have fair value inside them, and they're affordable at 2.5K Stubs and 7.5K stubs. With that being said, it's time to look ahead once again and try to predict who might be getting a ratings boost Monday morning.

I'll be breaking the predictions into tiers based on my own confidence level (also apologies this is going up a bit later on Sunday than usual, had been out of town).

Ratings Boost Probability: High

-Albert Pujols - The power numbers are simply off the charts. He's gotten boosts in the recent past, but nobody will argue if he gets a major one tomorrow.

-Max Scherzer - He had the no-no last weekend, and he's been ready for a boost now for some time.

-Chris Sale - But if Scherzer has needed a boost, Sale has been in even bigger need of one. He's got 63 strikeouts in his last 36 innings pitched.

-Billy Burns - He's just having an awesome rookie campaign. The speed, the defense and the run production have been so good.

Soccer fans want to believe their sport is the most creative game in the world. Having a moniker like the "beautiful game" sort of touches on that point, but what's hard about living up to that ideal is that it flies in the face of video games and how people play them much of the time.

In short, people have always tried to figure out how to "beat" games. And in the sports world, much of the time that means figuring out what works and then doing that over and over to succeed. In FIFA's world, that means using the fastest players, hitting an elevated through ball behind the backline, swarming on defense while not worrying about fouls, or being really good at right stick dribbling.

Now it would be unfair to say that's all there is to FIFA, but the point is you still see a lot of the same tactics on the field game to game. Personnel, play style and formations are things that perhaps should matter more and could matter more if you made them worthwhile. But that can only happen if you make the ways you currently "beat" the game less successful.

In short, it seems the folks working on FIFA 16 are looking to create more beauty on the pitch while simultaneously uglying the game up by combating some of those well known tactics you use to score and defend. The developers want to create beauty while creating muck.

So after the jump, I’ll talk about the couple hours I spent with FIFA 16 and how the game is coming along at this point.

When a game starts from the bottom like NBA Live did two years ago, it's easy to say it's improving year over year because it's hard to really fall any further. At the same time, on some level it might be fair to say "it's easier to go from bad to average than average to great." Still, right now as I take a step back and look at what NBA Live 16 is trying to pull off this year, it finally brings about a level of excitement that has not existed with the franchise in many years.

However, this is not me saying "LIVE IS BACK!" or "WATCH OUT NBA 2K!" This is not a hype piece, but rather me saying it feels like Live is finally moving forward. The development team is adding and improving NBA Live now rather than just simply trying to create a functioning basketball game.

So with that in mind, after the jump I'll share my thoughts after playing six full games of NBA Live 16.

Players On The Rise

Josh Donaldson joins an elite club this week as his plus-three upgrade got him up to Diamond-level status. A lot of people thought this was long overdue, but it's good to see a guy like Donaldson continue a rise that began last year. He's an elite player with an elite rating now.

The other biggest winners this week from the upper echelon were Todd Frazier and Manny Machado. Machado becomes one of the best all-around players in the game with his plus-six boost (and you can play him at shortstop due to his very impressive defensive ratings), and Frazier becomes that much more terrifying as a power threat at third base.

One other major thing to note is that with Machado's plus-six boost, you no longer need him to complete the Baltimore Orioles Collection. In other words, a couple guys like Chris Davis may go up in price a bit, but that collection now should be cheaper to complete.

We're wrapping up another week in the Diamond Dynasty universe, and the only card pack released over the weekend was the K's For Days pack, which included a mix of all types of pitchers racking up strikeouts this year. Fans seem to generally approve of this pack, and it does have a solid name to go along with a relatively affordable price tag of 10K Stubs. With that being said, it's time to look ahead once again and try to predict who might be getting a ratings boost Monday morning.

I'll be breaking the predictions into tiers based on my own confidence level.

Ratings Boost Probability: High

-Todd Frazier - "Mr.Frazier could you stop hitting so many home runs?" signed the rest of the NL Central. The Reds might be mediocre, but Frazier is just a terror. He's got average and power so what's not to like, especially over the last week?

-Nolan Arenado - Arenado got boosted not long ago, and while RBIs are not the stat you should use to say how good somebody has been, having 34 of them in one month is still a bit nuts. Either way, he's a great defender with a good offensive profile, and those guys I tend to think always have room to grow.

-Manny Machado - When compared against Arenado, it's been a couple extra week since Machado's last boost. Still, these guys are similar to me in many ways in that they're all-around players at third base. So my reasoning is the same for both these guys.

-Billy Burns - Burns got a huge boost in the 6/8 roster update, but he's still continuing to be a speed demon who gets on base and plays great defense. I feel like even with the massive upgrade a couple weeks back he should still get some more boost love.

-George Springer - I'm continuing to be a little risky here and choose guys who have already gotten ratings boosts this month, but Springer is another that seems due. Youth, speed, power, defense and now he's hitting for average this month as well.

-Chris Sale - I've pushed for a Sale upgrade the last couple weeks, and usually when I do that it means the player won't get a boost until the week I finally stop (see: Dozier, Brian). Still, he's got 75 strikeouts in his last 45 innings pitched. Give this Diamond some love!
