Another week is wrapping up in Diamond Dynasty. It was a busy week with the marketplace being tweaked and market caps being put in place. In addition, free packs were given out to every user as a sign of good faith and to hopefully bring down prices on certain pieces of equipment that had been used to swap black-market Stubs. Beyond that, the Shut It Down pack was also released. With that in mind, it's time to look ahead once again and try to predict who might be getting a ratings boost on Monday morning.
I'll be breaking the predictions into tiers based on my own confidence level.
Ratings Boost Probability: High
-Francisco Lindor - Carlos Correa maybe stole some of his thunder, but Lindor has also had a very good rookie season at shortstop. The power isn’t on the level of Correa’s, but he’s playing solid defense and has an OPS around .800 while getting on base at a .350 clip.
-Jake Arrieta - Arrieta will be 30 as he heads into his second year of arbitration so it will be interesting to see if he ever gets a huge payday, but it’s hard to fathom how good he’s been for the Cubs. In the past month of starts, he has another 31 strikeouts in 33 innings pitched, plus a 0.54 ERA and 0.84 WHIP.

Hey everyone, hopefully the video above explains everything, but in short, we want to do a weekly rundown of some of the best highlights from the Operation Sports community.
The video would generally go live on a Friday if everything works out. If it doesn't work out weekly, then we'll go to every other week or every month. We'll be doing something similar for the other sports games as well when they come out.
If you want to submit a highlight:
Send an email to: OperationSportsYT AT gmail.com -- provide a YouTube URL or a URL to the place where we can download the clip.
Also feel free to include your name, a title for the video, and any other info you think might be needed (ex. game-winning touchdown in my CFM Super Bowl).
Hope you guys will submit some videos. If you don't, then just know I still love you all even when you disappoint me.

EA has unveiled the changes for NHL's Ultimate Team (HUT) mode. The major change is that single-player seasons will now be a thing.
This should come as no surprise for those out there who play Ultimate Team a lot as single-player seasons are in some of the other Ultimate Team modes as well. In short, the folks working on NHL 16's Ultimate Team just want to try and keep their mode in parity with the others out there.
NHL 16 will be released on September 15 in North America.

Hey guys, so we recently re-launched our OperationSports YouTube channel (like, comment subscribe, etc.) We hope to expand our audience there as we continue to create videos here.
We've been focusing mainly on Madden for now as that's the most recent major release. Obviously we will be transitioning and playing more of the fall releases as they come out, but the question we have today is:
What do you guys want to see from us in terms of video content? We have plenty of ideas, but specifically when it comes to Madden what are you looking for as we move forward?
There's plenty directions we can go. We can tread in some similar territories others do where we do:
- MUT pack openings
- Gameplay commentaries
- Draft Champions playthroughs
- CFM follow-alongs and so on.
- Why CFM works and fails as a franchise mode
- The best way to play 15-minute quarters and get realistic stats
- Etc.
In addition, would you be interested in an OperationSports Twitch or YouTube Gaming stream to come hangout once or twice a week (at least for now) and watch and chat about sports, life and video games with the community? Either way we'll start streaming in due time, but if it's a priority for you all then we'll start it up sooner than later.
Feel free to reach out and give feedback in this thread, or via a private message to me, or via Twitter @ChaseBecotte. You can even tell me what you just DON'T want to see from our videos.
Any and all feedback is welcome, thanks guys!

Over on our YouTube channel (why not Subscribe while you're there?), I have broken down all the footage from NBA 2K16's first gameplay trailer.
A big thank you goes out to everyone in the community. You guys killed it in the news post, pointing out pretty much everything there was to spot. My job was more or less turned into just relaying all the awesome stuff you guys noticed.
If you missed anything or have not taken the time to tackle the entirety of this epic thread, then this video might be worth your while. Or if you just want to check out hi-res, frame-by-frame captures of the trailer one more time, check out the video.
Also, here is the link to the hi-res YouTube version.

Over on our YouTube channel, I took a deeper look at penalties in Madden NFL 16. Penalties are a focus in the game this season, so I tweaked the new penalty sliders and played a game to see what results came about. In the end, Joe Flacco is definitely the star of the show.
It's also fair to confirm that the penalty sliders work. Simply moving them plus-10 impacted the game in a major way. I would say be very careful when tweaking these sliders.
(Note: If you head to YouTube and check out the full description below the video, you will find time stamps for each penalty in the game. If you click a time stamp, it will take you right to that exact penalty.)

Players On The Rise
Coming off two action-packed weeks of roster updates, this one was very light. There’s not a lot to report beyond Hisashi Iwakuma going Gold a little over a week after his no-hitter, and Chris Davis going Gold for hitting every ball ever out of the park.
Adam Loewen is also probably happy the Show developers got around to actually giving him his pitching ratings this week so he gets a plus-34 boost in overall.
As a final note, Curtis Granderson became even more of a platoon partner. He’s got some very solid ratings against right-handed pitching, but his attributes against left-handed pitching took even more of a dive.
Tier Changes
(All thanks go to Daddy Leagues for these numbers! They're so on the ball I no longer have to sync up before and after roster update video clips to do all the changes myself.)
- Aaron Sanchez went from Common to Bronze
- Chris Davis went from Silver to Gold
- Hisashi Iwakuma went from Silver to Gold
- Brett Lawrie went from Bronze to Silver
- Brad A. Mills went from Common to Bronze
- Jimmy Nelson went from Bronze to Silver
- Juan Nicasio went from Common to Bronze
Aaron Sanchez +5 boost in Overall rating (73 Overall)
Chris Davis +2 (86) -- +8 Pwr vs. L
Dana Eveland +3 (65)
Buck Farmer +5 (64)
Hisashi Iwakuma +1 (85)
Brett Lawrie +3 (79)
Felix Doubront +4 (73)
Drew Pomeranz +1 (70)
Brad A. Mills +4 (70)
Curtis Granderson +2 (81) -- +19 Con vs. R / -20 Con vs. L / +8 Pwr vs. R / -17 Pwr vs. L
Jake Brigham +5 (68)
Adam Loewen +34 (58)
Adam Conley +5 (67)
Cole Gillespie +2 (58)
Brandon Moss +1 (76)
Jimmy Nelson +1 (78)
Dylan Axelrod +5 (63)

Another week is wrapping up in Diamond Dynasty. It was a relatively calm week, and included a weekend with a free pack of cards going to every single user. The Baseball Is Better pack and Break The Scoreboard packs were released (everybody got one Baseball Is Better pack delivered to them for free). With that in mind, it's time to look ahead once again and try to predict who might be getting a ratings boost on Monday morning.
I'll be breaking the predictions into tiers based on my own confidence level.
Ratings Boost Probability: High
-Mike Fiers - Of course I'm leading off with the guy who threw a no hitter one week after Iwakuma. He's having a good month overall, striking out just under one batter an inning and allowing less than a baserunner an inning.
-Hisashi Iwakuma - Of course, I have to include Iwakuma again as he did not get a no-no bump last week. He's having a better month overall than Fiers.
-A.J. Pollock - Pollock is just a beast, especially for fantasy purposes. The average is over .320, he's stealing every base he can, and he just can't be stopped from getting on base.
-Miguel Sano - Sano is going to strike out a ton (and has), but the power is so legit (eight home runs the last month), and he's getting on base enough to make everything work. He's also just 22.

4th Quarter Highlights
The Eagles finally start to run a more Chip Kelly-style offense in the fourth quarter, and it pays off with a touchdown as Murray gets a second TD against his former team. Romo drives the Cowboys down the field on a long drive before he does that thing he sometimes does.
:26 -- Get a look at a pump fake swing pass to Murray before going to Celek on the screen, and then the Eagles will go into the hurry up for really the first time today.
1:04 -- Bradford misses Murray on an easy pass.
1:35 -- The next play the swing pass to Murray works out, 61-yard pass from Bradford to Murray (17-7)
4:48 -- Williams gets loose on a slant, picks up 18 yards.
5:16 -- Barwin lines up offsides, Dallas gets a free play
6:00 -- Beasley dives and tries to make a play on a drag route, another two-man interaction on the incompletion
6:30 -- Kendricks has been all over the field this game, here he flies by three blockers to blow up the screen pass to Randle
7:10 -- Dez gets free underneath on the slant and picks up 18 yards.
7:36 -- Beasley goes deep on the corner route, Maxwell punches the ball loose to force the incompletion as Thurmond tries to dive in and pick the pass off.
8:09 -- Beasley is open underneath on the curl route, picks up 10 yards.
8:24 -- Romo looks right at Kiko Alonso and throws a pick to him over the middle.

3rd Quarter Highlights
Neither team can get much going in the third. The running game for both sides stalls out and both quarterbacks take some big hits.
1:15 -- Murray screen pass goes for 19 yards
2:30 -- Bradford is sacked again
3:05 -- Dallas sends the corner, Bradford goes up top but overthrows Huff
5:17 -- Romo hits Witten on a PA in route for 20 yards.
6:28 -- Romo tries to go to the screen, it’s covered so he takes a sack.
7:02 -- Eagles send three on third and long, Free gets beat around the edge and nobody else is there to help him out so Romo gets sacked again.

2nd Quarter Highlights
Both teams strike for touchdowns this quarter. The Eagles start to get the running game going a bit, while the Cowboys are more effective through the air. There is also a turnover early in the quarter.
:26 -- Romo throws a pick to Maxwell sitting back in zone. Maxwell with a long return setting up the Eagles inside the 20.
1:10 -- Bradford gives it to Murray on Read Option. Murray picks up 13, Bradford is injured behind the play.
2:25 -- Murray gets it on the Read Option and gets the TD down near the goal line. (10-0)
3:15 -- Big return by Dunbar sets up the Cowboys inside Eagles territory.
4:32 -- Kendricks drops a potential pick while sitting in a zone over the middle.
5:10 -- Corner route from Romo to Street goes for a 33-yard TD. I went for the pick rather than trying to knock the pass away and it cost me. (10-7)
6:40 -- Hardy sacks Bradford on first down.
7:20 -- Screen pass to Celek. I make the wrong read and cost myself a bigger gain.
8:12 -- Bradford has to check it down on third.
11:37 -- Romo goes up top to Dez Bryant against Maxwell with no safety help. Maxwell has inside position and wins out.
12:57 -- Romo goes up to Dez again, this time Thurmond fights him at the summit and knocks the ball out.
14:02 -- Matthews has a ball get knocked out by a hit along the sideline -- I went with an aggressive catch rather than a possession catch.
15:10 -- Trap play to Sproles on third and long leads to a first down.
16:04 -- McClain doesn’t bite on Celek’s move, nearly ducks under the route to pick off the pass.
16:42 -- Bradford scrambles on third down and picks up first.
17:13 -- Bradford is sacked (Agholor is open on the play but Bradford can’t step up to get the throw off).
17:46 -- Bradford is sacked again, Greg Hardy with his second sack.
18:07 -- Coverage sack this time, and Bradford takes his third straight hit as the game goes to half.

There have been plenty of requests by folks to put up a little info on how to make some Stubs in the Marketplace within Diamond Dynasty. This video is perhaps coming a little late in the season, but hopefully it helps clarify some things and allows you to maximize your profits as you build up a nice surplus to buy players or packs of cards in MLB The Show's Diamond Dynasty mode.
