Note: These are NOT "No Switch Rule" Sliders, as much as they are "Play Defense" sliders...I rush as a DL / break the pocket, switch to tackle in the run game and occasionally switch to swat a pass...you don't have to be a controller jockey or button mash, but you do have to participate FULLY on D...

Big Thanks to Trojan Man for helping me with the set in both the development and testing phases, as well as StefJoeHalt, who also helped fine tune and test the set. JoshC also had some great insights re: penalties / concepts, that were implemented into the set...

The goal was to remain true to AP Default while addressing the following issues:

1) Lack of CPU run game

2) Too easy to move the ball on offense for the HUM

3) Not quite as challenging as desired, with regard to the overall performance by the CPU

4) No fumbles, that seem to be brought out a bit more by having fatigue at 70 and the "arm tackles" versus "body tackles" at the lower setting (45)

This is the set that we agreed addressed those concerns and brought about the most "Stat Accurate" results in all major and minor statistical categories. Nothing is perfect (lack of fumbles, etc.), but as seasoned players know, this is a title of "trade offs".

The "little stats" like Pancakes / BTK / YAC for HBs / etc. have all been addressed and "leveled out" between the HUM and CPU players, to the degree that it can be!

Enjoy!

Hey brother, I found out something very interesting. Gameplay is vastly different somehow when using different cameras. I love these sliders...used to use the standard cam view, watched my buddy use wide and really liked the open aspect of it. So I started a new cfm with your set and changed the camera view to wide and let's just say I have been able to do things previously not able. Not placebo either...got 4 games worth of data. Also you can go to my xbox profile page on Xbox.com and look up ninjadoc48 and see the video uploads there. I am gonna try to do some sort of live stream if you want to watch. Going to the army navy game today so it will be after my bucks play tomorrow, but change the camera and let me know

Nothing surprises me with this title!

I'm currently in the 2017 Playoff hunt w / my TEN CFM and have used "Standard" for the past few iterations, so now's not going to be a good time for me to test...

I WILL however, give it a shot when I'm in the next preseason...

Thanks for the compliment on the sliders / the input / insight and enjoy the Army / Navy game...

Gonna post some results but this Bucs vs Titans week 1 cfm game was awesome. My only complaint was that no one EVER regained energy. I stayed in the yellow after 2nd quarter. But then again, do you really stay at green in real life? I know no one I knew did. So realistic and brought out some nice ratings. OL did sub but I know several times in my view of games this season OL gets hurt and comes out a couple plays and then all is well so this replicates that in a poor mans way

Hey!

Glad you had a good experience with the gameplay...

I haven't seen that amount of fatigue...

My guys are almost always "Green" and don't sub enough...

And I agree...since the OL doesn't get hurt, having to have some depth when they sub out is a "close enough" tradeoff...

I'm using an early version of the mizzou / rovert roster and perhaps the ratings are a bit different...

Or, you could just drop fatigue to 65 if it persists...

Regards

I will play another game to see. Perhaps I will get some video so you can see what the deal is. I might just leave it at 70 though as I do enjoy the strategy of it all and the scare when my boy Lavonte David gets hurt but comes back out. LOL

One thing is be careful with injury that high. I did only put it up with I think 55 or 60 and that was a good blend as people were getting little things here and there and what not

Yeah, once again, INJ disconnect might be a roster issue...

I've played almost three full seasons of CFM and my injury distribution and length are as good as I've seen it with this title...

# 53 BlackBetty15 @ Dec 15
Yea my roster is from the week 13 I believe. No big deal on my end.

My fatigue was been consistently yellow for much of the game too. I restarted my franchise with the newest roster set basically immediately after patch 3 dropped. Not sure what week it is that i'm using.

I have also, since switching to this slider set, been getting my backside handed to me too. I wonder if i'm just getting out played and getting wore down?

Will a fatigue slider adjustment have any affect on game play? Would not be worth the sacrifice.

# 55 KingV2k3 @ Dec 16
Well, I'm using that early rovert / mizzou roster and so is Trojan Man...

I think that's the disconnect for both you and BlackBetty, who are both using EA...

And yes, this set was designed to be challenging...

I went 8-8 and 6-10 before having things click in the player development and roster move departmenst and am now, finally in the playoffs with TEN in 2017...

Could be burnout, but like I said...we PREFER to lose, until a couple seasons play out...

As far as fatigue goes:

I'd consider dropping it to 68 and taking a look...

Then 66...maybe settle at 65...but wouldn't go below that...

Thanks for the feedback!

Honestly I probably wont change a thing other than injury to 55 or 60. Having my players continually tired is what happens in the game after one quarter. Teaches me to playcall and not lean on my fades and go fo completions. What I am seeing from this fatigue WITH acc clock off is:

QB play is really in tune with ratings. I overthrow and under throw with Winston if I do anything medium and long throws. I am on point some of the time but I dont do NEAR the amount of deep balls before all these finds we have unearthed.

2. I get an extraordinary results with RB splits between Martin and Simms and even Rainey on a loooong run by either the first two. It actually paid off because Martin did about three nice runs before being subbed out and two Simms plays later he took a RB flat route for an amazing 64 yards run involving spins and jukes to the house. (This is on my xbox profile video page under ninjadoc48)

3. This is an EA thing but they make my guys big hit anytime I press X. Its a big hype thing for me but I would like to see hard WRAP hits than shoulder leans. Watch any JJ watt hit and you know what I want.

Great stuff. Still getting a healthy sample size but this is where I am leaving it. If things get crazy, I will lower maybe fatigue but I like where I am at.

Great feedback...much appreciated...

Haven't gotten to ACC Clock:OFF yet, but your comments regarding QBA are quite intriguing...

That's really my only concern with the game...

The short and medium accuracy is "too good" and their relationship to deep ball accuracy isn't calibrated correctly...

Also: I've re-trained myself to only use the square to tackle...

X and Hit Stick look wack and Hit Stick does help break up passes on occasion...but...

Anyway:

Regards!

# 58 BlackBetty15 @ Dec 17
Man...I didn't even think about that since I turn all helpers off. I might hold myself back and do conservative tackle

Is V 13.9 the most recent? And the no tuner is that correct? I've been testing out JoshC set and would love to give these a shot as well.

# 60 KingV2k3 @ Dec 26
Yezzir...

13.9 is the most recent...

I also suggest you use both the penalty and Auto Sub setting in the blog...

They all work as "one"...

Enjoy and thanks for your interest...
