SUNRISE, DEC 5 - Just three days after beating the New York Rangers in shootout, the Winnipeg Jets found themselves in another hard fought battle in Florida. However, this time the result wasn't the same as Brian Campbell scored the lone goal to win it and give the extra point to the Panthers.

NEW YORK, DEC. 2 - Still making a trip through the east, the Jets managed to beat the league-leading New York Rangers with a Blake Wheeler shootout goal to earn another 2 points on the road. After the Rangers equalized early on the third period, Eric Tangradi scored what seemed to be the game winning goal, but a lucky bounce by Richards off Reimer's pads (Note: he was trying to pass! Goddamn, EA!) sent the game to overtime, where none of the teams managed to score. In the shootout, Wheeler's lone goal and Reimer's 3 saves gave the win to Winnipeg.

PHILADELPHIA, NOV. 29 - With Steve Mason back between the pipes, the same Flyers that were blown by the Jets 5-0 two weeks ago now seemed too much for the Winnipeg's team to handle. The Jets even scored first, but Philly managed to turn the score to their favor in the second period. Scheifele started the third equalizing it, but Hartnell finalized his hat-trick with the game-winner. At the end, Reimer was pulled for an all-out attack, but Simmonds' empty netter sealed the game.

LONG ISLAND, NOV. 27 - Neither Kyle Okposo nor Blake Wheeler, the two teams' top goal scorers, did what they do best as none scored a single goal in the battle between the Jets and the Islanders. But Tavares did what he's being doing best and picked up an assist on the first goal, helping the Islanders win by the score of 2-1 despite a Shorthanded Goal from Dustin Byfuglien.

NEWARK - NOV. 25 - After the last win at home vs. the Minnesota Wild, the Winnipeg Jets went on to begin their 6-game road trip in the east.
For the first game they faced the Devils and won in dominating fashion, with the team's offense scoring 6 goals on veteran goalie Martin Brodeur.
For the next one, they make a trip to Long Island to face the high flying forwards John Tavares and Kyle Okposo from the New York Islanders

WINNIPEG - NOV. 23 - What seemed to be a boring, defense-heavy game in Winnipeg turned into a thrilling one when Pavelec made 3 saves in a row with less than 30 seconds on the clock. Jokinen got the rebound and passed to James van Riemsdyk, who made a great one-man effort to score the game winning goal with 11 seconds left.
Van Riemsdyk earned first star honours with the goal, his forth this season.

WINNIPEG - NOV. 21 - Sharp, Kane and Toews participated in all Blackhawks' goals and proved to be too much for the Winnipeg Jets' defense to handle. The defeat put an end to the home team's 3 game win streak, but Winnipeg continues to be 2 points above Chicago on the Central Division standings.

WINNIPEG - NOV. 18 In the second night of a back-to-back, the Winnipeg Jets continued playing well and beat the Calgary Flames by the score of 6-3.
In a closer game than the final result suggests, Winnipeg's defense seemed a bit off sometimes and veteran forward Mike Cammalleri raised the opportunities to score a hat-trick, but Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele had another plans for the game. With GREAT help from goalie Macdonald, both scored 4 points. At the game's closing moments, with the win beneath their arms, the Jets launched an all-out attack hoping that Wheeler could score a hat-trick from his own, but it was Andrew Ladd who found the back of the net with 0.1 on the clock.
It was the third consecutive win for the Manitoba squad.

On sad notes, both Jets' defenseman T. Enstrom and Flames' forward M. Cammalleri left the game with injuries. They're still pending evaluation

SAINT PAUL - After the embarassing 4-1 loss at Joe Louis Arena, the Jets seems to be a totally revamped team, with a very different play style. The team stopped shooting like crazy and is playing a smart, beautiful hockey, winning two straight games. Of course is a small margin to analyze if the team's style really changed that much, but if they manage to keep it up, it wouldn't be a surprise to see MTS Centre hosting playoff games this season.

WINNIPEG - With Byfuglien back (playing through an injury), the Jets finally got some elite goaltending from Reimer and looked like a totally different team from last game against Detroit. The offense stopped shooting from everywhere and passed the puck a lot, spreading the Flyers' defense. (Author's Note: Seriously, Ladd's goal is the most awesome thing I ever did in this game. Wish I had a way to record it. We almost looked like FC Barcelona haha)
Between the pipes, Reimer stopped it all and helped the team acquire its 8th victory.

DETROIT - The Jets once again faced the Detroit Red Wings and once game came out as losers. The team seemed a little lost on the defense without Dustin Byfuglien, injured for the next 2 weeks, and a little desperate on the attack, shooting the puck from anywhere without thinking. The game wasn't even close and once again Reimer took a cheap goal after a weak shot from Legwand to put the game away.

WINNIPEG - It's been a roller-coaster ride for the Jets this season. James Reimer, the goalie acquired from Toronto via trade before the season started, had games where he did awesome, elite-tier saves, but allowed equally incredible goals in cheap shots from the line. The same happened with now backup goalie Ondrej Pavelec in games where he started. And, while the goalies keep being inconsistent, it will reflect in the team's standings.

CHICAGO - The Jets entered the game against Chicago (the second one against them in just 5 days) riding an 8-game point streak but with Patrick Kane and Corey Crawford back, the defending champs proved to be too much for the visiting team.
The Jets managed to keep the game close but an Empty Netter closed it for the Blackhawks.

WINNIPEG - The Jets came to the game riding a good momentum after the team's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks and things looked even better when the team opened a 2-0 in the third period following a Shorthanded goal (their third this season) but Henrik Zetterberg scored a hat-trick, including the overtime game-winning goal, to give Detroit 2 points away from home
