I hope Harold has some good lines for on anyone being nailed at the plate from the outfield.

I think this would add a lot to the presentation instead of having all the generic themes just having the MLB The Show 17 Logo.
EA got into quite a bit of trouble about this in the '90s.

They branded their early Madden games with "EASN" but then ESPN had to be party-poopers about protecting their brand, so they threatened to sue.

That's why they changed the name to something we all now know: EA Sports.

Reynold's doesn't bother me all that much. He's ok. Reynolds and Plesac are a welcomed change. I'm just so glad it's not Joe Buck. I would definitely be muting him.

I just hope the new announcers, enjoyed recording the lines. Reynolds for one can be entertaining when he is having good time, he just has that voice. That was one thing the annoucers lacked in the past they seem like they were all business, get in, record lines, get out. A lot sounded like it was all script and not like they were witnessing a game in progress. Just having a voice actor who can visualize the plays their lines are about, can make a big difference.

I don't always agree with HR, but his voice is distinctive and differs enough from Matt and Dan that it will likely be a welcome change for me. I need the contrast. I actually liked Dave Campbell and was okay with Red Hudler. Once EK and Psycho came on board things had much more of a flat tone. It improved each year IMO, but there just wasn't enough difference in Karros and Lyons voices.

Pretty excited for the stream!

I really only care if we have some in-game highlights of other games going on in franchise and have some weekly/nightly game recap show.

What in the world is on the right field wall at Wrigley? That "Baseball Is Better," 'ad' stands out like a sore thumb.

Oh, I'm a devout member of the Sabermetric cult, so I appreciate BK's approach. Why, is Amsinger a stats guy too? I feel like every time I see him he's just talking about dudes' hair.

Are Lauren Shehadi and Heidi Watney in the game? I didn't watch the video because I didn't watch it.

I'd settle for Kelly Nash even.

Just giving my two cents. I'm done discussing it.
I was trying to debate if you should get the game. I give a rats *** what you do. Lol as far as his broadcast style. If he is annoying, ill disable him. But with all the improvements, ill be playing 3/28 at midnight.

I coulda sworn PS4 pro enhancements were listed on one of the later streams on the stream schedule. Has this disappeared or do I keep missing it? Trying to figure out if I need to upgrade?

In-game highlights of other games would be really cool, if possible.

I agree. He's entertaining. He keeps guys focused, most of the time. He asks good questions.

Side note, how someone can love BK and his constant usage of advanced metrics, and then also like Harold Reynolds is beyond me. Harold is literally the guy who judges how much 'grit' and 'heart' a player has as if it's relevant. The only stats that matter to him are batting average, RBI, and homeruns. He's so old school ball player that it's off putting as a commentator. But, opinions are opinions. We all have them.

I am really excited for the stream. Especially since they said online modes can have a full presentation again.

I do online franchise with 3 other buddies. We play each other a good amount being in the same division, but most of our games are against the CPU. So it was really unfortunate not having any sort of presentation the last couple years. It was a bummer winning the World Series and being sent straight to a box score after the last out.

Cant wait to see what the stream has in store.

Wouldn't be the first time. Will there be an announcement made at some point on what we can expect on the pro? Thank you guys for making the best damn game every year and also will you be my dad?

Are you wanting the ladies in the game for their journalistic attributes or something else? Because even PS4 Pro graphics would not do them justice. Look at the cheerleaders in NBA 2K.

So now that there is a MLB Network presentation and as it sounds like it will include all the same stat overlays, animations and theme music and so on. It got me thinking you know how a lot of us here really want the commentary to go over and talk about the starting line ups before the game begins like it used to be MLB The Show years ago. Well does the commentators do that on the real MLB Network baseball broadcasts? Because if they indeed do then don't you think that should also be included in MLB The Show 17 as well?

Are you stubborn or is this just a mis-typed sentence?

Also another cool thing I think they should do with the presentations is you know how if you put the controller down for a while and you will get funny player, umpire and even fan presentations that play out. Like for example I was playing with the White Sox at their home stadium and I put the controller down for a few minutes and a presentation came on where 2 fans and the White Sox team mascot cam onto the field and were holding a bat and spinning really fast. These types of presentations should sometimes be shown perhaps like right after the inning break. This is usually when they show this kind of stuff on real baseball Broadcasts. Because the issues now is you only get to see all these funny presentations if you put the controller down for a while. So a lot of us most likely will never even see these presentations!

And also just like on real baseball broadcasts when returning from the inning break instead of going right to the first batter all the time instead you should sometimes hear the commentators with pretty on screen overlays maybe talking about upcoming team schedules, game start times and pitching Match ups, Standing updates, RBI and Home Run leaders, News from around the league and so on! MLB 2K did a lot of these kind presentations during the game.

These kind of enhancements would send MLB The Show's presentation though the the Roof!!!
