MLB The Show 17 Live Twitch Stream and Developer Blog Schedule Revealed

The MLB The Show 17 team revealed their Twitch Livestream schedule this year which also revealed a lot of new features coming to this year's game.

The live streams will start on Twitch on February 7th and will run weekly through March 23rd. In total, 11 live streams are scheduled with one yet to be finalized with regards to date.

In the descriptors for each live stream are some new details of features coming to MLB The Show 17.
  • Gameplay: New Ball Physics, Humanity AI, Cat and Mouse Gameplay, All New Catch and Throw Engine (+More!)
  • Diamond Dynasty Gets Dynamic: Events, Seasons, Programs, Missions 2.0, New Legends & Flashbacks. More!
  • The Little Things: New Uniform Sets, Universal Profile Overhaul, New Brands. More!
  • Presentation and Commentary: Showtrack, New Commentary?
  • Franchise Mode: Launch Pad, Player Quirks, Franchise Front Office.
  • Road to the Show and Create-A-Player: Player Model Revamps, Pave Your Path, Create-A-Player Revamp, PYP.
  • Graphics: Lighting, Grass Tech, New Head Rig, Classic Stadiums.

MLB The Show 17 Releases on March 28.

With the new Catch and Throw engine and new improved Ball Physics this alone could make MLB The Show feel and even look in motion like a brand new game!

Can't Wait!!!

The team did a good job of sprinkling in some non-DD/Retro news on days where those are the highlights. It will definitely have me tuning in for almost every news drop.

Presentation/physics/franchise/player quirks all have me intrigued to see what they've improved.

Really holding out hope that the MLB Draft has been totally revamped and the player pool is not random.
I agree. The Madden forum is how I found the site, back when I'd create guys for Madden. Now, it's akin to going to Syria...

The dopest thing I can remember about Buck Martinez in Triple Play is when they would read the random sponsored spots. When they did the Soft Soap one, I laughed every time.

I'll admit I wasn't a fan when he first started doing Jays broadcasts but over the past couple of years he's grown on me. I love his HR calls,"Get up ball, get out of here!"

Oh well, to each their own.

By the way the Jays tried some games with a three man booth adding Shulman to the broadcast. While I like Shulman as well I'm not a fan of the three man team unless there is a great chemisty between the announcers.

Thats for the 4 new classic stadiums, which doesn't include Tigers Stadium.

I'm hoping for the love of God, that flashback highlight during the game has expanded past the 2007 "hey guys he hit a HR in inning 3" please show some great catches, awesome throw, doubleplay, great strikeout sequence, or a payoff pitch in a clutch moment.

We all know presentation needs a fresh coat of paint and some new color.

SDS knows this too......and we are getting it on MLB The Show 17....I got a fever....

As a Braves fan, I've never been more excited about the start of a season than this year. I drive by Suntrust Park everyday on my way home and it looks terrific. I know it will look that great in MLB '17 as well. I said all that just to say, this years game has me super stoked and we have next to no details.

I am sure it will look great but how accurate can it really be since it's brand new? I bet all of the LED boards and jumbotron will not be very accurate in the game until 18.

Unless of course The Braves allowed Sony to see what everything is going to look like>

Braves have put out several videos with walk-throughs of what SunTrust Park looks like. Also, the renders drawing is pretty close to what it looks like right now. I don't think this will be a Citi Field situation back when it was added to "The Show".

Edit: I should add that I'm not sure if that would be sufficient in order to ensure accuracy without going inside of SunTrust Park and taking pictures/videos tho.

Go back to the stadium updates thread. Atlanta already gave SCEA access to info for Suntrust Park.
