I work for a pharma company and if I were to say something like, "Yeah, our product doesn't do what we claim it does" on social media....I'd be marched out the door in a heartbeat....and rightfully so.
JoshC:
That's funny I also work for a pharma company and we actually have mandatory social media training that has just been implemented for these reasons.

But in fairness to Clint or whomever, how are they supposed to answer a question like that? To say yes is to admit failure, and to say no is to tell a partial truth at best. There's really no way to respond to that question that's a win for EA.

I agree with what you're insinuating, but I can't see them addressing that question head-on in an honest way.

This is pretty much. You have to take their response from What's they are. They are going to defend their product.

I remember last year how many people complained about how QB acc was too inaccurate and how AC was overpowered. They insist several times that this was football and how this things happened on the NFL.

Next patch. They tuned down. Madden 2017 is toned down.

So one thing is what they will speak on the social media and another is what they truly think or want.

Let's hope that not true on everything, though, Booker.

The way Clint has been transparent on Twitter with separating offline/online.

I'm going to send a tweet later this morning to Rex and Clint, saying that they simply cannot let the separate tuning sets options fall off the Madden 18 development list. The competitive scene cannot completely override the gameplay experience of the Sim crowd in future Maddens. They can't leave us in the lurch again.

I will back you up on this with a tweet and other people who have Twitter, I would suggest doing the same.

SMH....

I don't see why you guys buy, support and some defend a product that simply does not work. From the comments Ive read the zones still don't work, QB's freezing up, Punters can't punt correctly, No Improvements to the Franchise mode, Still haven't fixed the blocking, etc etc etc...

Thats insane

Personally I love madden ootb

I came back to this forum after a pretty long Madden 17 hiatus while playing a few new games I had interest in. Holy cow has this game changed since August. This game out of the box was brutally tough, even on default All Pro in my Rams CFM there would be games I would flat out get crushed by the CPU and I loved that challenge of fighting through a season

Last week I did a fresh install of the game and re started my Rams owner CFM. Still playing on default all pro, 10 minute quarters and this. Not the game I remember. I have been carving through every defense I've played with Keenum to the tune of a 7-1 record. Injuries are almost non existent compared to the realistic, albeit frustrating, amount that I remember. So far Ive only lost Gurley to injury, which doesn't matter because my sub 70 rated offensive line is parting the defense like Moses. I have a perfect pocket to step into with Keenum and my receivers are torching the CPU corners on nearly every route they run.

I tried toning down the human skill slider by five points all around but to no avail. And now I read that because of the latest patch adjusting your sliders actually does nothing, and may actually have the opposite effect. I'm tempted to bump it up to all madden but I hate dealing with warping players and magic football trajectories that happen on this setting.

What has happened to this game? I don't understand the constant tinkering by the devs. Let me do my own tinkering.

I'm in season 4 using all pro settings and I'm not seeing what you are seeing. It's weird how each person's experiences are different.

Maybe I'm just getting better at the game. I have no idea, but it seems like I'm getting the lucky dice roll on every play. I'm tempted to try importing some sliders into CFM from the slider gurus and see if that changes the game for me at all. It just seems way easier than I remember, which is especially odd because the current Rams roster is significantly worse than the OOTB roster
