Guys this video is the insta-shed being talked about. And if this is happening a lot I am fine with it getting tuned down as most people wouldn't have time to complete a pass. The guy is in the QB's face within a second of snapping the ball.

Only problem is they shouldn't be gone completely. It does happen in the NFL:

honestly it looks fine to me. I can see the issue with good rated pass rushers but with low rated ones they never ever get to the Quaterback in online gameplay. So im not sure if I like that change.

There's a few weird changes they made in this tuner, I'm sure this is mostly for online ranked games.

Its not gone completely, I had it happen 1 out of 10 times I was about to be sacked.

Not a fan of making an already easy kicking game easier. This definitely feels like a tuning update to appease the multiplayer crowd.

So many white rookies have long hair it's crazy. Maybe EA is trying to start a trend.

Oh I agree completely. I said turned down not completely removed. I would be fine with a guy like Watt having a play like that in 30% of his rushes. But having a guy like Geno Grissom (4th string for Pats) getting it the same 30% of his rushes, I am not OK with that.

i actually thought it was in a perfect place. Good pass rushers gave you headaches in M17 and average pass rushers got sacks every now and then. I wonder how they get there info for this? This has to be all online gameplay related.

I feel like it was but overdone, but not as much as the outcry I saw.

Nope, don't know what they are thinking.

Two sack-fumbles in the first quarter of my first game post-tuner, one by each team. Quit overreacting guys, they're still in there. "Slightly reduced" does not mean "completely eliminated".

people want to complain without even trying it first

I'd also like to reiterate - if you have a problem with the patch give your gameplay impressions. This isn't the place for those of you saying "Oh man, they screwed this up royally" based solely on patch notes

Stop crying wolf. It's what makes your opinion become invalidated over time.

I actually thought gameplay as a whole is in a perfect place after they fixed the strip sack issue when game first dropped. I really hope they don't make catches more powerful now since everyone is complaining about drops. Honestly right now drops are great for this game, otherwise it's going to be a headache always trying to stop ppl throwing bombs or always going for it on 4th down.

I've been having a blast with launch day madden but I just hope they don't over do it with the patch/tuner updates to this game.

well seems they said something similar for strip fumbles too ,and they are almost completely gone, so i guess most of us who thought it would do the same for this ,was going off what just happened recently.

Glad to hear its still in the game and working.People need to not be counting on that "madden save me" stuff they have grown accustomed to over the years. Its time it was gone.

Man this is most realistic than O-line sticked glue at DE

Don't understand how they made kicking easier, you hardly ever see a CPU team miss a FG unless it was 45 yds or longer and the only reason they missed was because of the wind. They didn't need to reduce the power of the punter; we could do that just by lowering their rating. What they needed to fix was the wind direction. That would have made kicking easier without adjustments. I have done everything I can to help the CPU miss FG's as is. I lower each kicker's acc by 20 to 25 points before a game and have the sliders set at 40, and still hardly ever see a miss. When they do it's because they think they are kicking with the wind and instead they are kicking against it. Same with the punters, they adjust for the wind, So when they think they are kicking with it, they are actually kicking against it, then it results in extremely short punts, and when they think they are kicking against it they boot it for 70 yds.
