NBA 2K17 Face Scan App (MyNBA2K17) Available For Android & iOS Devices

MyNBA2K17 is available now for Android users on the Google Play Store and according to Ronnie, it is scheduled to arrive for iOS devices at 6:00 AM PST.

UPDATE #3: The servers are up and MyTEAM Mobile seems to work, but switching over to NBA 2K17 to get a face scan, gives you the following error:

As we hear anything, we will continue to update this post, but let us know what you're seeing.

Ronnie also mentions that you won't be able to see your scan until The Prelude is released on Friday, but you will be able to scan your face with the app.

Do you guys realize that the prelude is not even out in US? Hence the face scan being down. You are using US servers for myteam face scan app and new zeland servers for the game...Best case scenario it will work when prelude drops in US which is tomorrow or worst case when the game drops next friday.

25.5 hours ? Wtf the prelude comes out midnight. Edit my fault he tweeted that 14 hours ago lol.

Didn't know that. The app's servers must be based on U.S. time. I can see why that would be frustrating.

For everyone else just be patient. You have less than a day until you can officially scan and upload you face. I think you'll survive.

Of course, the servers are down until the Prelude is released, and it doesn't seems like we're going to be able to scan our face until then. They should've told us from the start instead of making it seem like you could scan it right after you got the App. These misleading half-truths...

Does anyone know if we'll be able to rescan again after the initial scan or are we stuck with the one we initially set up on the prelude?

I'm in Australia, face scan just successfully uploaded to my account, will have to see how it looks when I boot up the prelude again in a few hours

Prelude has been taken down until 2PM AEST as too many users from the states etc were making fake PSN4 accounts and setting their timezones to Aussie and NZ times. Ronnie had enough!

Good thing the NFL starts tonight to make time pass by faster. Wonder what type of lighting is recommended for the most accurate face, as there will be no natural sunlight when this thing drops at midnight tonight.

I have the app and prelude - can't use app yet. Doesn't let me logging. When you have to choose your platform to sign in - it sends you to the website right?. As in psn.com etc.
