NBA 2K17 Face Scan App (MyNBA2K17) Available For Android & iOS Devices

MyNBA2K17 is available now for Android users on the Google Play Store and according to Ronnie, it is scheduled to arrive for iOS devices at 6:00 AM PST.

UPDATE #2: The servers are down.

UPDATE #3: The servers are up and MyTEAM Mobile seems to work, but switching over to NBA 2K17 to get a face scan, gives you the following error:

Ronnie also mentions that you won't be able to see your scan until The Prelude is released on Friday, but you will be able to scan your face with the app.

Is face scan only available to those who have the game early now that the servers are up? Lol man oh man. Its still early but the app was advertised to work today. We should have expected this.

It keeps saying "An error occurred while attempting to upload your scans"

I have the game and the servers are up for the first time.

accidentally downloaded the 2k16 app lol

So I got a question tho. On 2k16 sometimes I get logged out of my 2k account upon start up, and have to re-submit my email address, accept terms and conditions etc. Once it logs me back in, I have all my VC etc. but does this mean that I need to confirm my account somewhere or is this a common problem?

Just wondering if this will affect my ability to use the app?

na, it shows you the real life images you took from left to right and then a upload images button.

Ok. I think I see how this works now. The face scan app only takes your picture and then loads those pics into the game then you make your cyber face.

Does that make sense ???

The NBA Live app, you'd take your pic and make your players face right there on the spot with the app and then upload that to the game.

Lol wow. This sounds like a step backwards from last years face scan and Lives face scan. Hopefully the results are good.

yeah i just cant tell you what happens after the images upload because I get the same error every time.

How are you guys getting to the face scan part at all?

When I try to get to the 2k17 part of the app it says I need to play 2k17, makes me re login to my PSN account then it says Success but it doesnt actually bring me there, I just stay in the myteam mobile part and repeats over again.

I have the prelude I dont know why it won't let me get on to the 2k17 section.
