NBA 2K17 News Post

While these aren't final NBA 2K17 player ratings, as mentioned by Ronnie 2K and LD2K, it definitely gives us a glimpse of what we will see when the game ships. Typically, 2K updates the rosters prior to release. But let's have fun with what we see TODAY. There are quite a few face scans in both videos as well, from some of the rookies and popular players in the league.

Shoutout to Familyfirst Glo for the videos, who knows how long they will be available.

Haha, no doubt.

Reminds me of 2K10 when people complained I'd just sit LeBron and play with Jamario Moon and still roll fools.

At the end of the video he puts some older Kobe's on LeBron and you get a good side profile shot and his hair looks completely different from his 2k16 player model. Looks just like it did in this year's Finals. If I could capture Screenshots I would do a comparison to his 2k16 player model.

This one? Might not be the best quality. Good to see he's the highest rated player. I know it was expected but I wouldn't doubt some Curry fever taking place as well

That's it. Definitely different from 2k16. That's this year's Finals hairstyle. Looks good.

Lol, so I guess Draymond (90) a franchise player like Dame (89), PG13 (89), Anthony Davis (90) and DeMarcus Cousins (90).

Yeah, I see a slight difference. I just think overall not much has changed (like his body type). He was pretty good already though.

His traps are no longer eating away at his neck

Haha true. I'll probably like the subtle changes more when I see the game in action.

His hair no longer is bald at the bottom and sides and his skin tone appears to be more accurate as well.

I don't think you realize just how good and versatile Draymond is.

He's just as valuable as those guys you mentioned. The other guys should be better but they're not.

Lillard - better but still bad on defense. That's effort.
Cousins - Defensively could be better.
AD - Health
PG - Probably better but we'll have to see how he plays this year. Was pretty meh after a great start last year.

Lol what do you consider a "franchise player"?

I mean you consider Cousins a "franchise player" but he's missed the playoffs for the last 6 years and can barely lead his team to a 30+ win season. Really impressive.

So honestly your definition of a "franchise player" is pretty vague. There's only a few real "franchise players" in the league.

So honestly the term "franchise player" doesn't really mean anything.
So if Draymond was on Kings he would lead the team to the playoffs???
Draymond is a great defensive player but he is no superstar like the rest of these guys.

I think his play last year would challenge that. He came in what, 2nd in Triple Doubles behind Westbrook?? His 3pt shooting was way better than before, he's been in the running for DPOY for the past years. He averaged 7.4 assists last year with 9.4 rebounds. He's a really great all around player.

Lol, must be nice passing to the greatest shooting duo of all-time. I really can't see him doing those same numbers on a different team like the Blazers or Pelicans.

Oh I'm sure it's great...but that's what he did. They aren't rating him on "buts" or "ifs"

Draymond Green 2016 -
Avg 14.0 PTS
Avg 9.5 TRB
Avg 7.4 AST

Kyrie Irving 2016 -
Avg 19.6 PTS
Avg 3.0 TRB
Avg 4.7 AST. (As a PG mind you)

Looks like the stats speak for themselves
