Trailer is cool. I expected the graphics to be on point as always (despite all of the opinions of others, the graphics do look pretty good) My Thing is the gameplay. There are some fundamental things and some more advanced things i'd like to see fixed or added into future 2K's.
Help defensive A.I and P&R defense really needs some fixing. Players make non NBA like mistakes out there on the floor that would get even Lebron James benched. And the P&R defense at time is laughable no matter what adjustments you make. I'd really like to see this cleaned up, more realistic mistakes like ball watching and passing lane gambling.
On ball defense and driving to the basket is something that I've never seen 2K get correct. Too much focus on unrealistic mirroring and bumping on ball and not enough focus on help defensive rotations. "Your defense is only as good as the guys behind you." A statement that holds true today and always will. Guys are simply just too fast and strong to be denied the drive consistently by just one man.
Layups need more finesse and less force (if that makes sense) Basically what i mean is there is no way you've ever been able to replicate a Kyrie, harden, prime Manu, D Wade, Tmac, Kobe, hell even a young Paul pierce in any 2K game. This is mostly because of suction contact around the paint. Everything is done with force and not enough finesse when the situation calls for it. Mid air shot adjustments are terrible, over exaggerated, and just plain downright ugly. I would really love to see something done about that in the future.
Shooting is far too black and white. Open shots go in, contested ones miss. That is not at all how basket ball works. Some guys shoot a little better with a guy 2-4 feet then they do open. Harden for the most part being one of them. I won't go too deep into this because it's explained very well Here.

All in all my focus hasn't been on the graphics since 2k14 hit the current gen for the first time. Oh how beautiful that game was, but it fell very short of my expectations.( couldn't stand the game) Graphics wear off after about a month or 2. Tight gameplay can have you hooked throughout the entire year.

The little things like t-shirt cannons, dunk squads etc really add to the immersion.
BUT how often will you watch them? Maybe 3 or 4 times when you first get the game?
Meh.
Graphics are nice, I don't expect much in that sense, as far as I'm concerned if they stay the same as last year that's fine overall. Only thing I would like to see is better muscle definition.
I'm intrigued by the physicality of the defense.
Looking forward to the dev diaries etc.

With all reports indicating that the upgraded PS4, codename Neo set to launch this year and that all games releasing after September will require Neo improvements(better framerate, effect etc), what improvements do you think a 2K17 Neo version would have?
Better lighting? more responsive controls?

How do people get mad at others for voicing there opinions about visuals in a thread about a trailer? I personally am not impressed with this game visually any more.
Gameplay needed lots of work, so we'll see how much that improved. I can almost gaureentee people complaining about complaints will have several minor gameplay complaints.
Some guy's always have the 2K blinders on and are content with anything they show.

You can dislike aspects of the game and that can be valid. Why cant someone validly like those aspect of the game? I loved 2k16 and many of the issues I see people complaining about either dont effect me or are ones I dont agree with. That doesnt mean that I'm blind to any flaws in the game.

I just come from a different view when I look at the trailer. When I watched the trailer, I wasnt looking at leg or ankle size or haircuts. I looked at the new presentation elements and thought they looked good. I then looked at things liked the crowd reaction and noticed that looked improved. I looked at the bench reaction scene and thought that looked cool.
Then I thought "that crowd reaction and bench reaction doesnt mean **** if they still have issues with the crowd audio" so my hype calmed down a lot.
Like I said before, those audio issues are issues that affect every game. I'm more concerned about that than one player's calf size or if one player looks 10 lbs over weight.

I have no problem with what anyone likes about the game, i'm only stating my dislikes. I never asked or told anyone not to like the game visually or gameplay wise.
I liked a few things about the trailer, but my dislikes outweighed them.

Both answers are fine. I think it's unfair to assume it's because we have "blinders" on.
