2K Sports just posted a brand new NBA 2K17 trailer celebrating the Dream Team complete with current and legacy players. The trailer is 1:36 and is set to the "Star Spangled Banner" -- and might we say quite timely with the Olympics ongoing.
Quote:
As previously announced, both teams will be featured in the next iteration of the top-rated and top-selling NBA video game simulation series*, in addition to renowned Duke University and USA Basketball coach, Mike Krzyzewski, who is making his debut in the NBA 2K series. Fans who pre-order NBA 2K17 will receive the legendary 1992 USA Basketball “Dream Team”, along with a special USA Basketball MyTEAM card and MyPLAYER jersey to fully customize their USA Basketball experience.
Comprised of NBA Hall of Famers, including Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Clyde Drexler, Karl Malone and David Robinson, the 1992 “Dream Team” is universally considered one of, if not the greatest, team ever assembled in basketball history. The 2016 USA Basketball team includes NBA 2K17 cover athlete Paul George and Team 2K athletes Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, and Kyrie Irving.
Draymond was fat a lil still in 2k16 he's slimmer in the trailer also don't know about the fat melo thing . Melo if anything was too small in nba 2k16 . But melo has been in shape so if he looks like he has a tad bit more weight on him I welcome it.
I'm just a jerk I guess. No bashing because I appreciate it all and im pumped to play another tournament vs the euroleague teams.
First of all, some of the additions are awesome
- Draymonds face and overall is good
but they have him looking all DIESEL again why?
-Same with Melo, and his emotion looks fantastic!, but they have his uniform all thick so he looks like FAT MELO
-2k Why the uniform textures look like velvet man?
I can post pics to show you what i mean, no bashing but just from what i saw, its like screeching a chalkboard.
Paul george as well...
I thought I was the only one that thought some of the jerseys gave off that velvet look lol, its not bashing man its paying attention to details, so please post pics to show what you mean.

Nah they've been like that. Not sure why they won't change the textures.
The shoulder area around the neck is too thick, and it stretches when the players move.
Melo is clear example of that... and this is my issue with the thick limbs
See how Pau Gasol has lean muscle in his shoulder?
Then see how Paul George doesn't in game... just unplump it and it'll look better.
See how thin Melo's shoulder straps are
The reason i point this out is because when they're made thick, and when they do that, they compensate with filling in the jersey with the body, which is bigger then IRL as you can see from the two pics above that.
Now look at melo in the emotion scene and you'll see what i mean compared to that pic.
Meh. This should have come out weeks ago. I need to see some type of gameplay or at least how the players move around the court this year. As much as I love 2k I refuse to spend 60 plus dollars on a roster upgrade. I want that next gen 2k14 trailer feeling. It's still early so we'll see

C'mon man
You don't even have to go there. It's just a short trailer showing off team USA because its olympic time.
Same Jordan, same disappointment. Body types look improved generally. Waiting to see what/if we will actually have international teams to play against.
Everybody complaining about Durant's arms on twitter. I really hope they don't change them.
Yeah, saw that in the YouTube comments section, too. Hopefully 2K doesn't mess with that, they nailed his upper-body this year and with the increased attention KD will be getting now that he's on the Warriors, he's going to be a marquee player they really need to nail.
I feel like the YouTube and Twitter folks don't actually look at the players, just their stats ... which is depressing. Players are people, too.
