Post another video of it happening if you can. Might help.

I'm afraid to play. What sucks is I had the other match saved too, but it was on the same clip and I accidentally over-wrote the clip to trim that out.

Edit: I'm going to try XB1. I keep seeing my profile being offline on Sony. Could actually be them. My internet is fine.

Was your controller vibrating while your HUD was blank and you were pressing the stick to try and transition?

If it happens again, try transitioning in any direction with the blank HUD and let me know if your controller vibrates.

Yes. It would vibrate every direction I tried. Trust me, I was trying everything lol.

I'm done with online right now, I turned off game. There's just so much input lag when pushing buttons and the grapple meter is just not responding to my input on the controller.

This game feels worse then before the patch. Ughhhhhh...

But you can pre-emptively deny on the feet.
Well that explains the ridiculously easy TD defense. Why is this not being changed?

Do you think that we can not perform pre-emptive deny by Grapple block IN CLINCH, but can perform pre-emptive Reversal w/o any penalties and stamina loss (which is much more dangerous than simple GB) IN CLINCH - is a right thing with good balance?

Spoiler

Im not one to bash GPD, but seriously why is this crap not being fixed. 3 patches and not one TD buff based on stamina. How many times do we have to say it, 0 Stamina should not deny my TD att. or deny my clinch att. This is the whole point of having a stamina meter!!!!

As it is stamina is already way off in this game and now this. UFC 2 Kickboxing edition.

"Various Gameplay and Animation updates"

--> Anyone encounter something new or changed?

I'm not too excited about some changes though I love the new fighter additions and the randomization of new Ultimate Team fighters (I always fight the same f'n models every time: some bald dude).

Seems they completely abandoned career mode in its mind-numbing mediocrity. A pity. Still positive they keep updating the game but be careful not to make it worse (if the comment here are any indication). I'll try the game again tonight and will post my impressions.

It's also a failed opportunity to fix the tutorial, which is nice but does a half-assed job. We didn't get a manual so I kind of expected the tutorial to fill in the gaps.

Being able to not have your transitions interrupted by punches in the clinch is already making a huge difference against guys who clinch all fight.

I'm 90% sure your RT button is stuck or broken.

I don't think it's a bug in the game.

Changed the inputs for submission reversals on the ground to be L2+R2.

What does this mean?

Aside from that, the patch looks alright. I'll be trying it out without the next few hours.

I'm surprised so many people think that takedowns are too difficult and too easy to deny. I'm a pure striker who has no interest in grappling and I've rarely had trouble taking people down. It's easy enough just the way it is (was) IMO.

Plus it sounds like the patch made takedowns easier, so we'll see how that goes.

Looking forward to trying out Karolina.

Two days ago I was caught in the crucifix and my character completely froze. My opponent had zero stamina and hit me twenty times until he finished me. it has only happened once, though.

I just don't understand the reasoning for being able to pre-emptively deny standing takedowns when you can't deny early on the ground or in the clinch where at least it would be at worst a 50/50 guess. TD's are denied the same every time, no guessing. Which means I can throw a spin kick then immediately hold R2+RS down and block any well timed TD. Now that it's common knowledge the TD situation is quickly going to get worse.
