Madden NFL 17 Screenshot Featuring Under Armour and Adidas

Check out the latest Madden NFL 17 screenshot, featuring Adrian Peterson. You can see the Under Armour and Adidas cleats much better here. More equipment details are coming soon.

As Clint Oldenburg and Dustin Smith have noted on Twitter, the screenshots that are released on various outlets are a WIP and equipment will get updated before launch.

Yeah the first group are old. Andre Johnson , Dwight freeney, woodley etc. The bottoms are Dez, Hakeem Nicks and ET29. EA has a easy job here, all they have to do is scan them.

It's not like scanning a piece of paper. There's still a lot of work you have to do post scan I'd imagine. If it was that easy they would have every piece of equipment in.

Maybe..

-Options for home/away and dry/rain/snow.

-Create A Team for relocation instead of the current templates.

I'm also wondering what other equipment is out there that we haven't seen. Kane said UA gloves are in but I haven't seen them yet.

Home/Away options would be a great addition and I'd love that. I don't know what the surprises could be outside of seeing the stuff we know is there but just haven't seen yet. The best surprise would be mouth pieces or proper one-arm sleeves but I highly doubt that'll happen. Maybe something within MUT or CFM in regards to creating uniforms for expansion teams or MUT, I don't know. Hopefully there's a section of the presentation blog with a ton of pictures of all the new things they've tweaked and added. And hopefully all of it will actually end up in the game lol.

I'd love a full uniform builder for relocated teams(ala NBA 2k16). I'm talking imported logos, stadium art, the whole nine. I had so much fun with it in 2k and uniforms actually end up looking like real uniforms not the made up mock stuff

For sure. I think that would be a really good crossover feature for them to implement. MUT is nothing but a fantasy mode anyway so it would fit right into that and DC and I'd imagine the customization and personalization it would allow would be a hit with that crowd. Then it would fit into CFM for relocated teams as well. I still remember a couple years ago when a GC started the rumor that Nike was working with them on the relocated uniforms and then it ended up being those Seahawks and Oregon template knock-offs.

I thought they were going to have a blog for just the new equipment they added?

So the only blogs that we have left that we know of is the one from Clint on the improved man and zone coverage, Equipment, Presentation, Franchise, and I'm going to guess one will come out later on for MUT.

I thought that was the plan but I feel like I've seen it said that it was going to be a part of the presentation blog also so I'm not sure. If it does have it's own blog I hope has more pictures than words. I don't care about the process of scanning all the items or that "the same tech that they use to create their ultra realistic face scans was used to scan the gloves, face masks, and cleats." Just show me the goods.

I believe presentation has several blogs and I think CFM may too, but Clint said equipment will be part of the presentation "series".

I get what your saying. What I meant was that a lot of ppl are asking about UA gloves and Adidas gloves , whereas with Jordan brand they only have cleats because the players like dez, et29 etc don't need Jordan gloves only shoes, but I totally understand you.

That's bc those guys wear Cutter gloves, which Kane confirmed aren't in this year

As of late Dez and ET29 wear Nike super bad 3.0 which has made this madden, which is why I say it could be more easier to scan Jordan cleats, doesn't have to be a wide array of them just one pair with their team colors.
