Madden NFL 17 Features Focus on Franchise Mode & More - Bundle Info & 2 Screenshots

Madden NFL 17 will feature a renewed focus on Franchise mode, all-new ball carrier feedback cues, defender fake out mechanics and an innovative, authentic defensive AI system.

As seen on the Xbox site, Rob Gronkowski appears to be the cover athlete, however that might be a placeholder. The first screenshots revealed are with him, Antonio Brown and Von Miller. Could we see all 3 on the cover or multiple covers? We will know for sure today at 6:00 PM ET on SportsCenter.

It's impossible to know exactly what all this entails yet but one thing that worries me is that it will be something where they want to make it a risk/reward and so the game will basically decide on it's own what the "best move" to make is and if you choose something different it will simply equate to the wrong choice and you get artificially penalized with increased risk of fumbles basically forcing you to use the cues or be at a randomly increased risk with every interaction. I feel like it will be something similar to the DL and WR mechanics but I don't know how I feel about that being applied to a ball carrier but I'll just have to wait and see.

Didn't EA say he wasn't gonna be on cover? I know you wanna stop things from getting out early, so you deny stuff, but things like this makes me wonder what other news is false..

It was a lie. They wouldn't want to acknowledge it being true and kill off the hype of the ESPN reveal.

He did. All I saw was cleats and the gloves from the screenshots. I noticed a couple Jets had one-arm sleeves but they weren't like the actual sleeves that players wear. Also noticed Revis had the wrong facemask but that's really nitpicking for a teaser.

Well, it only took like 6 years but we got updated equipment.....and you can't teach that.
