The two big gripes I have with the game (so far) are that you have to push left on the d-pad to go forward in uniform selection (home, home alt, etc). It feels so counter-intuitive and, hopefully, there's a way to fix it (I'm not holding my breath). The second gripe I have is that there's a lot of uniforms missing, and errors. The Angels still don't have red belts, and the Padres don't have their amazing Navy camos in the game.
Besides those things, the game looks and plays as amazing as ever. I love the fisheye camera, as it seems to make the scope of each ballpark bigger in size. Plus, it works really well with the closed roofs.
Speaking of those closed roofs, I do love how the lighting changes when the roof is closed, versus when it's open. It really feels like the ballpark is being lit artificially by lights, as opposed to the sun.
As I play more and get into my franchise and RTTS I'll try to post more impressions. I may not be as detail-oriented as some of you, so I'll let those people do the talking.

I'd say the game looks improved from last year. Hitting is certainly different. I'm finding myself early on a lot of fastballs but I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually. Timing window definitely has been made easier.
Commentary seems much improved, and the lighting is fantastic.
Like others who have posted, I do not like the circle meters at all. They are difficult to see especially since they seem to have shrunk down the font. I don't see the need to make changes every year to the front end menu system. I thought it was fine before. Not a big thing, though.
As a roster maker, I dislike the fact that you can't edit batting helmets for fictional SCEA players, and I wish you could edit service time as well. Don't understand why these preventions are there to begin with.
Also, they got Ryne Sandberg's batting stance wrong. This is odd, because his stance has been in the game for years. Perhaps his real stance is still there somewhere and he was just assigned the wrong one.
He never rested the bat on his shoulder and also he had a minor sway back and forth.
Anyway, all things considered a job well done.

This is MLB 15: The Show just with a few more gimmicks and buttons and features added to it.
-Zero upgrade to Camden Yards and zero upgrades to made to Minuite Maid Park. Like don't bother asking me to help in making improvements to the stadium through email if all what they did was just issue the same problems in another game.
-Same mundane uniforms. What is the use of helping the team with uniform suggestions when all what they're going to do is just put the same uniforms in the game year in and year out.
I'm done. Like if you want to repackage the same game over again that's fine. Just don't give me the illusion of "helping out".

Not really impressed with the RTTS Player Creation. The equipment slots are nice, but the overall look of it is ugly, far uglier than years previous.
Not sure if improved lighting is showing just how ugly the create-a models are but they are hideous, hair as well.
Game has started to hard freeze on me as well. 2 hard freezes within 5 mintues of eachother. Not sure if its a bug with the music I just added or what.

Stride stride stride!! That's the number one add this year.
This may sound crazy, but I bought a PS4 just for this game. Having never played MLB on PS4 before, I was kinda expecting more visually. It honestly didn't look all that much different than MLB 15 on PS3.... That said, I've only had time to play a game and a half so far. I haven't noticed any frame rate issues. Last year in MLB 15, the stuttering was maddening. Thankfully I haven't seen it... yet.

Really my only gripe is that there isn't any way to view Hot/Cold Zones manually. With Quick Counts enabled, Hot Zone Preview is disabled, so I'm forced to either always have them on or not see them at all.
in the middle of game 1 spring training thoughts:
+ No more framerate stutter in this game. must have been from the install demo.
- stillhas that dreaded 'snap back' between pitches sometimes where the batter warps back to the plate. not a fan of that.
+ lighting as we all know is incredible.
sucks playing as the yankees as they had so many rookies debuting last year that like 15 new guys all have artists rendered faces. Aaron Hicks looks particularly bad,
more to come.

my biggest pet peeve right now is not being able to throw warm up pitches with my starting pitcher. Wish that wasn't taken out.
I loved getting into a groove with their pitches before starting the game.

I'm really enjoying Fish Eye a lot more than I thought I would.
Game seems to be more jaggier then last year. Not sure if anything has changed with AA implementation or not.

i don't like the changes they made to base running in RTTS. I'm a pitcher but boosted my hitting stats and speed is 90. when i get a single it goes to the count of the next action instead of seeing the entire at bat. how am i going to steal bases when the guys count is not in my favor

im a pitcher so i cannot see these options, i want to see the entire at bat not just the next action

Not gonna lie, I am still bummed that they haven't got Progressive Field correct. How hard is it to place the tarp down the line?

Just a few things that are really irking me from total enjoyment, thus far, with the game. Most of these are aesthetics.
- The fielding cameras are awful, to me. They are so zoomed out that I cannot see what is going on while playing on my 70inch screen. Wish we had a custom fielding camera, or at least one that was way lower and tighter on where the action was.
- Thought I would like the round meter for attributes, but I do not. It is very hard to read for pitchers and players in the menus. I do like it on the base paths, however. Please give us the option to use the line/bar meters or the round ones.
- As others have mentioned, the font size is a bit small in some areas.
- I really dislike the player attributes circular graphs for the player ratings. Just give me numbers, please. Or a choice.
- There is still no option to display batter information on the screen while playing. I would like to know who is at bat, what they have done in the current game, and what their main stat lines are for the season, all while the pitcher versus batter interface is occurring. Likewise for the pitcher information. Give us the option to display or hide all of that, please. I really dislike hitting any buttons to retrieve information that should be available to me at a moment's notice, because to me there is no difference between hitting a button on the d-pad or hitting the start/options button.
- The Menus seem a tad clunky and cumbersome on the very front-end. I have no interest in Diamond Dynasty or any of that stuff, I would like to bury it somewhere and never think about it again. Even trying to adjust the settings is a bit wonky, with stuff sort of being hidden or buried.
- Was really hoping for some new animations for certain instances. Feels like we have had the same game ending sequence for a long time (to name a specific) and it is very stale. No need to remove things, but please add to them in the future.
These are the negatives that jumped out at me just in exhibition games, thus far. There is still so much good in the game and most of what I would point out has already been noted by others in this thread, or in others. Thank you for all of the hard work, SCEA! I hope that some of these issues could be addressed moving forward. I am not sure if cameras can be patched, but if there was one thing that I would like to see changed, for my own benefit, it would be having more fielding cameras (especially the lower, tighter shot of where the action is while the ball is in play).

Just a quick observation, Robinson Cano and Nelson Cruz's stats from last year are flip flopped.

Anyone else annoyed that they don't show the season stats every time the batter is up? Heck if they show the splits you don't know anything other than that. I hope this can get fixed for sure!
I do like the game as I threw a perfect game my very first game last night, but there is a few things got me scratching my head.
* I can't figure it out but the skin tones on the players don't look right at times, not sure what it is but maybe in 15 there were more lighting or more glossy skin flesh on 15 I am not seeing this on 16.
* When viewing the players player card noway to see what his jersey number is and there career stats are wrong.
* The carry over year 2 year save from 15 to 16 has missing data, a lot of players have this white player model and face for even the African American players as well. No players in that have career stats at all.
* I am very disappointed that players who played in the 2015 season last year and were on the game then are missing, and sure they can be added back in updates, but they will be added back being a created version. I just feel like this part was rushed at the end and these players got over looked. Matt Joyce - http://www.baseball-reference.com/pl...oycema01.shtml played in 93 games last year for the Angels and should be on as a real player. There are about a few dozen the same example.
Other than these things listed above this game has a lot of potential, I love what Kirby has done with Commentary and PBR is there but not as noticeable as I thought it would be but all in the right direction.
