I mostly played unranked in the last game due to it being a garbage experience once you hit black and red belt. I can already tell that I'm in online championship for the long haul this time. Loving this ****.

I can't stress this enough, but something has to be done about stamina on spinning kicks. Every McGregor I go against plays like a ****ing fool, and there's no reason for them not to do it a million times per match because they never slow down. I'm 13-4 in ranked, so I'm handling them okay, but this is just ridiculous. Please do something about this. I posted a clip of one of my McGregor encounters in the video thread so you can see what I'm talking about.

For me this is the game. I fought McGregor last night and did a great job of keeping my distance, but I go so frustrated by his constant kicking with no ability to genuinely stop him. I really hope they can get this dealt with.

Good morning. So the final verdict is that Hard is better than Pro? I've seen two people claim this, but I haven't observed everyone else agreeing with it yet.

As for my impressions, I really like the ultimate team mode, even though I don't seem to be able to win with any consistency in division two. Considering how long the game has been out, I guess I'm running across.

1. folks who don't have to work, can play the game all day and get coins to max their fighters out

2. People that are paying cash for the packs and maxing their fighters out

I'm looking at rankings like, how in thee world do you have time to accumulate that many fights?

Game still feels a bit stiff, but its growing on me. Only thing missing is a "franchise" type of career mode. A Madden/NBA2k in depth career mode.

Where do I go to use my evolution points that I've earned?

Wanting to use them on attributes.

You can't use evo points on attributes.

Maybe offtopic, but why i still haven't seen monster energy logo in the centre of octagon? Is there anybody else who has this problem? had any other logo in there but not monster. What's the problem?

Curious, why am I 5 fights into my middle weight career and still fighting guys that are a few pounds over welterweight?

My guy also looks 2 weight classes bigger than his opponent.

The striking output is pretty crazy.

Only if you force the AI by pressure fighting. If you fight realistically, the striking out out is realistic.

Just witnessed CM Punk sweep Royce Gracie from full guard bottom to top mount. In the same fight, I also witnessed punk switch from a triangle to an armbar.

Some of the choices made in move sets are really baffling.

*THIS*

Big issue for me, i've been watching ufc since 100 and have maybe seen 2 or 3 sweeps from bottom to top mount. And it was only because of a submission attempt, that failed, then they ended up on top. It seems IRL, bottom fighters have 2 options, try and push the guy off you, or try to submit him. No one can just flip a competent fighter over like its represented in this game. Id be ok with it if it was Jacare, Gracie, or Maia doing these sweeps, but you're right, its guys known for boxing or in CM Punks case nothing, utilizing these very rare and difficult BJJ techniques.

I normally try to sit back and counter and the AI starts doing ridiculous 5 strike combos. Also having a hard time winning decisions even though I'm clearly winning fights.

Me and aholbert have definitely noticed this. Maybe it's just us but I find that the pro A.I is a lot more susceptible to getting K/O'd simply because they swing wildly and are way too aggressive without blocking. The Hard A.I on the other hand fights with a lot more strategy, mixing in high output and low output striking and solid ground game. Until there is a A.I patch I'll be sticking to hard for my offline fights

Good news guys. I was finally able to string together some winning streaks and even win a belt in division 4. Unfortunately with wins comes points and I've been promoted to division 5. I was absolutely smothered on the ground by Sonnen and Cormier my 1st two fights. I think I'm going to go play The Division now.

I don't understand the complaint of spammed body kicks. I ran about 10 online matches today and only a couple of people actually blocked the body and I mixed it up. If you're not going to block low, then it's nothing but body shots and leg kicks from me.

I dont get it either. I just stay on the outside and wait until they gas. Then its either an easy takedown or quick combos.

Yeah, parried body kicks give you lots of time for a counter too, so when somebody gets predictable with them I start getting excited.

I think I'm gonna enjoy this game a lot more once I get ground game figured out and feeling natural. For some reason I'm an idiot and keep defending wrong direction

Is anybody can share some tips againt Barboza leg kick spam and 360 head kick ?
Anything besides going to the ground i want to Ko them in striking match.
