So the winter gear bug is gone. However, now, if you edit a player he wears his winter gear in all seasons, so it negates the weather/season contextual application. Better than before I guess? We just need a "winter/cold" only option in the edit player menu.

Just picked up my copy and am absolutely about to bust at the seams with eagerness to play with Arsenal.
Unfortunately, I still have about 4 more hours

This may sound strange but even though I'm an Arsenal fan, I just never enjoy playing as them lol. I get a few matches in with them and just go NOPE can't enjoy myself. I don't think I have enjoyed playing with them ever since van Persie left and I miss the PES days of playing with Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, Viera, etc. Ha I am just spoiled a little and holding on to some nostalgia.

Still at work so haven't had a chance to play yet. Sorry if this has been asked before, but have they addressed player stamina this time around? Do players actually tire out?

Only been a fan (of the sport in general!!) for about 15 months (post 14 WC).
I chose to attach myself to Arsenal simply because of their "cool name and logo".
I have since become obsessed with football--and that is somewhat of an understatement; lol...

Awesome game. In one word, this game screams authenticity.
The variety, the possibilities... very impressive.
That said, FIFA still has major defending issues. Tactical defending needs to be totally redone. Yeah, teammates are proficient at making interceptions but they're not near aggressive enough at other times, closing down and making tackles when they're perfectly placed to do so. Meanwhile, controlling defenders to get close to make tackles and apply pressure shouldn't be this hard.
Easily the best FIFA ever. Well done EA for focusing on realism and proper balancing.

A few things I don't like about online. I have played about 6 online friendlies with a friend and throw-ins are the worst.
The marking is so tight to begin with, then if you flick the RS to control a player to move them to some space it's easy for the other user to trail you.
The main issue comes when you throw it in, you lose control of any player while the ball starts to be thrown so it's super easy for the other user to "jump the route" and steal the ball.
2nd thing is any pass you play, particularly an A pass, that is over say 20 feet, will be picked off. Solely because your player stands still while the CPU player, not even the player the other player is controlling, runs forward and steals the ball.
You can slightly fix it by holding the LS towards the pass but it's still not enough to stop this other form of route jumping to occur constantly.
Safest bet is to never play an A pass over 10 feet.

We tried that a little but the match we did it in we were bundesliga 2 teams and the pass reception skill was lacking when receiving those passes with purpose.
And it isn't about wanting ping pong passing back. When you spot a player 30 or 40 feet away wide open and you play a pass to them only to watch them stand there while a defender runs 10 feet to intercept the pass...
I am not a frequent online player but playing vs a friend is really fun minus this issue.
We began to just play fair play rules and if the situation was ridiculous which resulted in the turnover you give the ball back.
